Spud Buds!

@Oaktree Yes I shop at Coles mostly but also visit IGA and on occasion Woolworths if they have specials on. I boycotted Spud Shed a few years ago and haven't shopped there since.

I have tried other chippy salts but they just aren't as good!

@Jynx and I are on the hunt for the perfect salt from days gone past. I am tempted to start visiting the fish and chip shops to ask what they use! Wonder if they'd tell me?!

coming here to say I was reading an article this morning about potatoes and for a small part of it they interviewed someone who’s been a “potato pathologist” for at least the last 10 years 😮 didn’t know such a thing existed

Wow @lonemushroom! That's so interesting. I wonder if potatoes with mop-top virus taste any different. The articles don't mention taste; only the look and maybe the texture. I'd be devo if my curly fries or mashed potato tasted different!

As for a potato pathologist; if this mental health thing doesn't work out maybe I can pivot and make my love of potatoes a full-time job 🤔🤣
