Tillogram

Hi All

@tyme @AuntGlow @Jynx @rav3n @MJG017 @NightFury @Shaz51 @MissGremlin @Appleblossom @Dimity and many others I have accidentally forgotten to tag

Just letting people know I am back safely from my trip.

I had a great trip, my sport event was brilliant and then I travelled a little bit.

Not sure how much engagement I will have with forums as only just returned to this cold weather!

I'm not sure what's been happening, but I hope everyone is well.

Re: Tillogram

Hi @AlwaysMyself Thanks for responding over here..

I understand being overly peopled..

I hope the birthday party was otherwise good and your family member liked your present..

I can often feel overly peopled and it is dependent on the situation because sometimes I can't wait to get home and other times I find coming home feels really lonely, I find the latter moreson since both my dogs passed away.

Yes it would be good to speak to some like minded and kind people, like yourself, in real life, but the forum set up is completely understandable.

I'm glad you are spending time painting your figures though.

Re: Tillogram

Hi @Jynx and thank you for your response and thank you for your offer. It's nice to see people asking after you even if you are not on the forums that often. I always try to respond to direct tags, even if I'm just acknowledging I have seen the post and not saying much else, if I feel I don't have capacity.

Yes I have reduced things in the past to alleviate a bit of the pressure, some of which is actually coming from me.

I understand @Jynx as I'm often zipping around. Sometimes people call ne the Energizer bunny! Sometimes that's because I am very good with masks usually.

I hope you have a good evening

Re: Tillogram

@Till23 absolutely valid, I'm glad you're doing what feels right for your energy right now 💜

Haha you and me both! One of my uni classes, at the end the teacher got us to write something nice about everyone else in the class on a slip of paper. Basically all of mine included the word 'energy' in some fashion 😅

Hope your Sunday is unfolding gently 😊

Re: Tillogram

Hey @Till23,

That's so okay, you're allowed to be where you're at. And sometimes we really don't have the space to engage - you take care of you, okay? This time of year is hard enough as it is. 🫶

I completely understand that feeling of being utterly flat and having to 'force' myself to do anything... I have noticed this comes up most when I am either overstimulated or understimulated; perhaps even a mixture of both?

A break in general, albeit hard, might be really good for you to recalibrate and reenergise?

Whatever we are resisting most, is often the thing we need.

Big hugs, lovely. 🥰

Thanks for checking in @Jynx just to increase my stress there have been bushfires

Hope you have been well and not expending too much energy and running your batteries down.

Re: Tillogram

Thanks @AuntGlow thanks for responding. I hope you are doing well and are not experiencing any flatness. I suppose you would be on a break from studying at the moment

Re: Tillogram

Hey @AuntGlow

How are you going? Hope this evening is not too stressful.. It's been a little bit stressful here, not badly stressful though, over the last few days because there are a few bush fires .. They seem to be more under control now though..

Re: Tillogram

I know that feeling too @Till23 , as you know. I hear you. I hope the movie tomorrow is interesting enough to capture your attention and distract you from feeling "bleh" during it - even if it doesn't provoke a sense of enjoyment. (Somethimes this absense of bleh is a good thing, given the anhedonia as a constant. Or it is for me at least).

Good on you for getting a few tasks done today despite the low motivation 😊. Im not sure abput you, but i find that difficult often unless there is a deadline or reason for urgency.

One less day of work for me. 5 more to go over the next 2 weeks. Crashing to sleep ins is sounding soo good - except for having to get up for appointments and the dogs.

Can you believe I am still checking tag email notifications from 4 days ago? 🤣

Re: Tillogram

Hi @AlwaysMyself

Yep I can definitely believe you are checking tags from 4 days ago, you get a lot of tags and you are always so good about responding..

I see you are counting down the days for work..Are you feeling relieved about having one less stressor?

Re: Tillogram

Hello lovely! @Till23

Oh goodness, the bushfires would have been so scary for those involved... how close were you??

I understand that feeling... and it can be so all-consuming and confusing.

It sounds like you're doing things that 'should' be fun, but they don't hold enough personal meaning to bring about a sense of joy, lightness, or connection (right now).

Have you been out with the friend you mentioned to me a couple of weeks back? (Apologies if I missed this update!)

I am sensing that coming back to purpose is key for you next year. I know we talked about study - what else is coming up for you? 🫶
