Tillogram

Hi All

@tyme @AuntGlow @Jynx @rav3n @MJG017 @NightFury @Shaz51 @MissGremlin @Appleblossom @Dimity and many others I have accidentally forgotten to tag

Just letting people know I am back safely from my trip.

I had a great trip, my sport event was brilliant and then I travelled a little bit.

Not sure how much engagement I will have with forums as only just returned to this cold weather!

I'm not sure what's been happening, but I hope everyone is well.

Oh, this is so amazing to read @Till23!!

It sounds like you felt really connected and inspired throughout your trip. 🤩

I hope things are feeling settled now that you're back home.

What was your favourite moment from being away?

And yes, definitely something to consider for the future. 💛

Re: Tillogram

Hi @AuntGlow it was a good trip and I saw some lovely countryside and met-up with and met some lovely people. There were no major problems and meet went quite smoothly, also weather was good.

I can be in a room with 100s of people (and was) and still feel completely alone (and I did).

Connection with people, for me, is very difficult . Connection with nature is not a problem.

I haven't been well for months, but just keep putting one foot in front of the other. I am constantly trying new things, including social exercise but I can't seem to get on the other side of the glass wall. I feel I am too different from normal people.

I just signed up for barefoot bowls to try yet again to increase connectivity.

Anyway I will think about doing some travelling to different places in Australia, of course it will by by myself.

I hope you are well

Re: Tillogram

Hi @Shaz51 thanks for asking. I haven't been on the forums much. I was away on my sport trip and was pretty busy when I first got back catching up on stuff like mowing the lawns and trying to resurrect a couple of plants that missed getting watered while I was away - I think I've saved most of them.

I haven't been well really since I got back from overseas trip a I haven't really been on forums much since that overseas trip. I'm just trying to survive . I go out most days to sport or volunteering, but I just go through the motions I feel pretty numb.

Anyhow, how are you and Mr Shaz going. He was going to have a brain scan and you were going to find out about an exercise physiologist if I recall correctly

Hi @Till23!

Thank you for flagging that I missed this. A lot of my saved tabs to address disappeared because my laptop did a whole shutdown thing to update - so it's not just you I have missed. 💛

I am so happy to hear it all went smoothly, it's always such a relief when this happens, isn't it?

I can relate to that feeling of being around lots of people but still feeling completely alone... it's so vulnerable. It's like, you desperately want to feel connected but can't. I had a moment where I went to a party the other weekend and I got so overwhelmed from feeling disconnected that I had a cry and left! I think it was because I wasn't feeling connected to safe/grounded parts of myself first and I also wasn't in a place to put on a social mask. Is that kind of how you felt too?

It's interesting that you say you feel too different, I think you're very relatable. I wonder if there is an opportunity here to explore what it's like to show up as yourself and to soothe some of these thoughts and feelings as they come up? Or is this something you already do? (Let me know!)

Ooh barefoot bowls sounds so fun! I am sure @NightFury would join you in a heartbeat.

Excited to hear more about your travels. ✨

I have only signed up for next term @NightFury so won't be on for a few of weeks a week. I think after school holidays finish. I've done it once before for a work thing. I'm not good at all.

Hope you are well
