Tillogram

Hi All

@tyme @AuntGlow @Jynx @rav3n @MJG017 @NightFury @Shaz51 @MissGremlin @Appleblossom @Dimity and many others I have accidentally forgotten to tag

Just letting people know I am back safely from my trip.

I had a great trip, my sport event was brilliant and then I travelled a little bit.

Not sure how much engagement I will have with forums as only just returned to this cold weather!

I'm not sure what's been happening, but I hope everyone is well.

Re: Tillogram

@Till23 I am saddened to hear that these feelings have been compounding for you hun. Please know that it is not at all personal - sometimes I am busy, but also sometimes I might miss/forget someone has tagged me. ADHD brain means if it's not 'in sight' I won't be thinking about it. If I have left you feeling abandoned or forgotten it was unintentional, and not a reflection of your value or worth in this community. And I apologise if it has left you hurting.

I have always admired what you share, the gentleness of your approach, and I think you have incredibly valuable experiences and insights to share. Maybe I lurk a bit too much - I see you having wonderful conversations with other members and think 'oh yay they're connecting! I'll let that happen without interference'.

I hope that you can feel reassured that you are not only welcome, but valued here. I am so glad you decided to speak up - sharing that you're feeling this way is not 'wasting people's time' - it's you expressing your feelings and your needs, and that is so far from being a waste of time. So thank you 💜

Thanks for your responses @tyme @Jynx. I think at this stage I will leave it there. Yet again it is close to stumps, so better just to leave it there

Re: Tillogram

@Till23 im heading to sleep (work tomorrow morning), but i saw your thread pop up in recent posts (recognised the name - great title!) And really want to give you an virtual hug (if that's ok) and say "I care; you are not a waste".

You mentioned you have a big week coming up. I dont know what that refers to, but I hope it goes OK or even better than anticipated.

Thinking of you mate. Sleep well tonight, and fingers are still crossed that the rain stays outside the doors! Stay safe.

Re: Tillogram

Thanks @AlwaysMyself the weather is supposed to get better this week so that is good.

One less thing to worry about!

It was annoying timing because I am going to do a couple of new and anxiety provoking things this week. So I was a little bit stressed about them and then terrible weather.

Anyhow the weather situation is more or less under control, there will be flooding as the water moves down the rivers, but that is unlikely to affect me directly, there might be road closures near me but otherwise should be ok

Re: Tillogram

Hey @Till23 Quickly checking in to see how the flood/clean up is going Hon? Home today with a migraine so will be limiting screens. Will check in again when I feel a bit better ❤️

@Shaz51 @tyme @Jynx @NightFury @AlwaysMyself 👋

Re: Tillogram

Thanks @Zoe7 thanks for checking in, much appreciated.

It's still raining but has slowed down substantially.

The water is running off/soaking into the soil better.

Every time it rains again the water lays around but it's not getting deeper, like before, so all should be ok

I am sorry to hear you have a migraine, I hope it doesn't last for two long and you can get to rest without pain.

Re: Tillogram

Managed to get some sleep @Till23 and made it to my dentist appointment. Feeling pretty ordinary and not going to work tomorrow - which I think is a good decision to help recovery. Will no doubt be in bed early tonight. I have already had my night meds early because of how I am feeling. Hopefully a good night's sleep will help recovery.

I am so pleased to hear the damage has been limited for you and the water level has gone down. Such a worrying time for you Hon. I have been through both bushfires and some flood events so understand the wait and watch and how stressful it is - but that was a long time ago. Luckily where I live now I am pretty much out of both. Technically, I am in a flood prone zone but never been that bad here so far 🤞

How has your day been?

Re: Tillogram

Hi @Till23!

Yes, I had left when you sent this, but I am here now. 🥳

It has actually warmed up a bit, so I am feeling grateful and hopeful for warmer days ahead. It really does change my mood so much to be out in the sun.

It sounds like you are very engaged in what you are doing when you volunteer, I am sure being immersed is helpful when your thoughts are loud.

Did you do anything for yourself this weekend? ☺️

Ooh what is the lived experience stuff?

Avoidance, potentially, but if you are doing things that 'fill your cup', then it's also really healing and supportive of your wellbeing.

Ahem, you ARE interesting. Genuinely. 💛

I'm glad you managed to get some sleep @Zoe7

I hope your dentist appointment wasn't too bad and you were able to get done what needed to be done.

Yes I've been in a few bushfires, including actually in the bush in a ditch waiting for the crown fire to go past, then sprinting to the fire break/fire trail before the ground fire arrives.

My day has been ok thanks. The rain cleared and the sun came out briefly, then it rained again, but only briefly and it is supposed to clear up for a few days.

I went to table tennis today so that was good. Also managed to get my shopping done. Also got a couple of things done around the house.

I will likely be on the forums a bit less, at least for a while, but I have really appreciated your support and I hope you are going ok overall. I don't know if you post elsewhere, I can't recall seeing any of your posts, so I hope you are getting the support that you need/wish for

Re: Tillogram

Hi @AuntGlow my weekend has been filled dealing with rain, thunderstorms, gale force winds and flooding. So I suppose I did something for myself by trying to avoid any long term adverse outcomes from that weather event. At times it was a bit anxiety provoking I spoke a bit about it in my thread here and some people kindly responded.

How has your house hunting been going?

Also you apparently did some kind of a show over the weekend?
