Tillogram

Hi All

@tyme @AuntGlow @Jynx @rav3n @MJG017 @NightFury @Shaz51 @MissGremlin @Appleblossom @Dimity and many others I have accidentally forgotten to tag

Just letting people know I am back safely from my trip.

I had a great trip, my sport event was brilliant and then I travelled a little bit.

Not sure how much engagement I will have with forums as only just returned to this cold weather!

I'm not sure what's been happening, but I hope everyone is well.

Re: Tillogram

Hi @Jynx,, sorry I haven't responded to your post until now.. I think I did in my head,, but not in real life!! I hope you are well.. Thanks for your thoughts on spirituality and I agree about the existential themes of having purpose and meaning. There is only one inevitability in life and that's death and you start doing that from the minute you are born.

All the best for running barefoot throughout your life.

Haha I do that all the time @Till23 it's like just by picturing myself doing something my brain counts it as a memory 😅

Definitely agree. And the purpose and meaning doesn't have to be grand - sometimes it's all about the little things.

Thanks hun, and same to you! 💜

Re: Tillogram

Hello hello my @Till23 ,

I'm back from a week away camping. It was an okayish time. As you know, my BIL isn't that great. I had a good talk to him today, so hopefully we'll see some change.

You must be so busy preparing for the comps you have coming up. Is it okay for you?

How is the lived experience work going?

I'm around a lot less on the forums now - mainly in the late evenings. But I'll certainly get to your posts when I see them.

Please take care and look after yourself. We're here to take this journey with you.

Re: Tillogram

Hi @tyme,, sorry for the very delayed response.. I've only rarely been on forums in the last two weeks.. You seem to be on the forums today,, not sure if you still are right now,, but I hope you are well yourself and wishing you all the best with the family situation..

I hope you are able to find some glimmers in the changes that seem to be occurring within SANE..

I know you say you like chatting and supporting people on the forums,, so I hope you are able to engage with that in some capacity or that the changing role allows you to do the things that you find most engaging..

Thanks for all the chats we've had,, which I have found very interesting and supportive.. I've often researched the things you mention in the chat,, which has been educational and interesting,, so thanks..

@Shaz51 I hope things become easier in your caring role, all the best with that.. I hope your own health situations settles down.. Thanks for your amazing reach across the forums.. The forums and all the members benefit greatly from your presence..

Re: Tillogram

Hey @tyme,, Thanks for your post.. I know you probably have changed responsibilities in your job now and you're not on forums as often as previously,, so I appreciate you taking the time to post..

I hope you are well and things pan out well for you.. I know many (if not most, or all) of the people on the forums appreciate you.

Re: Tillogram

Thanks @Till23 . I'm glad you are understanding. It's not easy, and I'm so mindful of the community. I've always promised that I'm here for the community. So whilst I'm not on as much, I'm still around.

I hope you are okay.

When is your next trip?

Re: Tillogram

Hi @tyme - it seems things are moving in a different direction for the forums..

It has changed since I first started but I'm sure it has been an evolving space since whenever it started, which from other people's posts, seems to have been more than 10 years ago. That's pretty amazing consistency, especially in the MH space. So much has happened with diagnoses, treatments, neuroscience etc in that time, but this space for people discussing their situation and supporting each other is still here.

.

I hope you are able to find at least some glimmers in your changing role.
