Tillogram

Hi All

@tyme @AuntGlow @Jynx @rav3n @MJG017 @NightFury @Shaz51 @MissGremlin @Appleblossom @Dimity and many others I have accidentally forgotten to tag

Just letting people know I am back safely from my trip.

I had a great trip, my sport event was brilliant and then I travelled a little bit.

Not sure how much engagement I will have with forums as only just returned to this cold weather!

I'm not sure what's been happening, but I hope everyone is well.

Re: Tillogram

Hi @tyme,, Yes,, well,, not everyone can afford an electric car.. Or even a new one.. But such is life..

Training is taking up more of my time now,, because I have ramped up my training sessions,, in order to be as fit and ready as possible for upcoming major comps etc..

.

I'm thinking of putting up a post about spirituality that's not an established religion. Some people find spirituality helps them I think.

Re: Tillogram

It's true. EVs cost a bit more at the beginning, but over time, the cost evens out - esp at this time! The prices are EVs are going down. I read a research article from RACV which talking about EVs starting a pretty reasonable costs... $25,000 in fact https://www.racv.com.au/royalauto/transport/electric-vehicles/cheapest-electric-car-australia.html

I hear you about distractions. I totally get that. I think that's my life at the moment. I don't know how to slow down because the more I slow down, the more I am lost! But I do believe it is only for a period of time. Once it's over, I'll go to my next phase... whenever that will be.

The LE CSA stuff sounds so important. Glad you are doing it.

Maybe your body is just in a difficult space and hence you are feeling this way? IDK. But I hear how difficult it is for you.

And posting about spirituality is a really great idea. Spirituality is not just about religion, but being 'in touch' with your body, mind and spirit. I'm all for it. I've got a lot to learn in this space too. @Till23

Re: Tillogram

Hi @tyme,, yes,, I understand the price of EVs are coming down,, but still it is a substantial amount of money.. Yes,, that really is what I use distractions for,, because I think (and know,, because it has happened)) I will not be so much lost,, but sink in to the quagmire..

Physically,, I am quite OK,,

.

So, I am trying to find something else that might be helpful. People do say and there is some evidence for effect of spirituality having a positive effect

We'd be happy to spotlight the spirituality thread for you if you want @Till23 so it's on the main landing page - that's if you want input from others

Re: Tillogram

Hi @tyme,, how are you going this Sunday evening??

I decided to bite the bullet,, so to speak,, and put up a post about spirituality.. I wasn't sure really what to write as I wanted it to be as open as possible and not have it as a leading post,, so people could feel free to write whatever they liked..

Re: Tillogram

Hi @Till23 just caught up on reading your posts here 😊. Glad the short program sounds like the first half went well - wondering how the second half is going, if you wish to share.

I hear you on the petrol prices and trying to ignore the costs because of needing to use it for essential things. Sounds like your tactic is the same as mine 😅.

Happy-jealous for you @tyme that you have an EV 🥰😍. So glad it helps with both the germs-issue and currently the cost for fuel (plus, more fuel available for others too right? Plus the environment benefits as a bonus 😍). My sister has an EV and loves it. $25k for a quality EV would be amazing!

Got to go now, but wanted to say hi 🥰

Re: Tillogram

I'd be interested to hear more about the spirituality aspect. @Till23 Was it you who finds 'feeling' the ground with bare feet, therapeutic? Would this be linked to spirituality.

Re: Tillogram

Hi @AlwaysMyself,, I don't think I've seen you around lately.. Although I'm not on forums much these days.. I hope you are well and everything is proceeding OK for the trial..

I pretty much already know the majority of the stuff in the course, but it's kind of good consolidation I suppose

Re: Tillogram

Hi @tyme,, I hope you are well on this Saturday evening.. I haven't seen you around much lately,, although I'm not around much lately,, so it's a bit hard to know.. I think @Jynx likes going around barefoot.. But,, yes,, I like to touch the ground in my bare feet especially on natural surfaces like sand,, grass,, dirt etc.. It does make me feel more connected to nature, I love hearing and seeing natural things, like birdsong and crashing waves - it's kind of magic.. I don't know..

Anyhow I put up a post about spirituality,, but it didn't get much traction but that's ok.. People are busy with their own stuff and maybe my wording was not good.. Or maybe things have changed for me as I'm not as engaged with the forums really since last year and people don't know me.

I am pretty busy, but I don't think it's just that, I somehow don't feel as much connection with forums.

Re: Tillogram

How is everything, lovely?

Re: Your last post - I wonder if this means you are actually rather present and 'in your body'? @Till23

Honestly IFS is amazing at helping us understand how our 'parts' work and how they interact/protect one another. I recommend reading 'No Bad Parts' by Richard C. Schwartz.

I am curious to know your thoughts! 💛
