Tillogram

Hi All

@tyme @AuntGlow @Jynx @rav3n @MJG017 @NightFury @Shaz51 @MissGremlin @Appleblossom @Dimity and many others I have accidentally forgotten to tag

Just letting people know I am back safely from my trip.

I had a great trip, my sport event was brilliant and then I travelled a little bit.

Not sure how much engagement I will have with forums as only just returned to this cold weather!

I'm not sure what's been happening, but I hope everyone is well.

Re: Tillogram

I reply because I want to, not because i have to. 😊 the connections i have here are important to my wellbeing also, being able to share and "make use of" my lived (and living) experience.

That makes sense @AuntGlow 😆. Lol sometimes i get subtlety and sometimes i'm just so darn oblivious 🤣.

I learned today there there is a private health fund in australia who covers PAT (both the ptsd medication and the depression medication versions). I am trying to find out more - e.g. whether it has to be admitted day-patient (or inpatient), or whether they can somehow get allowance to also provide it for private-practice not attached to a hospital (but i doubt this is the case). I read they have an agreement with a place in Perth and a place in Brisbanr now.

And guess what? They're also involved in supporting the PTSD PAT trial that is being done by the same group I am doing my Depression PAT trial with. I was impressed to read that. I wonder how long under other health funds will also agree to cover it under Psychiatric Hospital Services. 🤔

Re: Tillogram

Hi @AuntGlow,, I am glad to hear that you are going ok.. Actually,, Aunt Glow,, that's a hard question for me to answer - When I am actively participating in sport competitions,, what am I feeling in my body.. I notice if I'm getting puffed or if my muscles are really burning,, but really that's it.. I don't t really feel much or think about it..

.

With IFS I have never had that type of therapy, so I am wondering if it might be useful for me.

I hope you have a lovely rest of evening or until you're on next

Re: Tillogram

Hi @AlwaysMyself I know you are responding because you want to, but that doesn't mean it isn't at least a little bit stressful. I hope you have are still going ok and are looking forward to the next steps.

Re: Tillogram

Thinking of you @Till23 . Hope things are okayish?

I read you are halfway through the Mindspot program. How you finding it? I actually don't know much about it. Someone recommended it to me in the past.

Re: Tillogram

Hi @tyme,, I hope things are OK with you too.. Yes,, I am approximately halfway through it,, there are a few different programs.. I could have done a couple of them but the PTSD one seemed most relevant.. Although I know most of the stuff,, it doesn't hurt to go over it again for reinforcement and a couple of the vignettes are at least partially relatable,, so that makes you feel you aren't the only one having these symptoms or thoughts..

How did EMDR go for you @Till23 ?

Re: Tillogram

Hi @tyme,, I hope you are well.. I have not had any sessions of it yet.. It's something I hope to try in the near future.

Re: Tillogram

My apologies. For some reason, I read that you were going to try it today @Till23 .

Argh, maybe my brain is registering incorrect info! Oops! ADHD brain.

Did you get up to much today?

Re: Tillogram

No problem @tyme.. There are hundreds of posts for you to read and it would be impossible to remember what everyone is up to,, although you seem to do a very good job of it.. I think the mix up is well within the limits of any human regardless of neurodivergence or other factors affecting cognitive function.

I went to the gym this morning,,

I tried not to notice the cost of petrol on the way home!!

Re: Tillogram

Hahaha! @Till23

I won't lie... when I see the petrol prices skyrocketing, I sorta say, "Phew" because I've had an electric car for about 2 years now. It's been the best thing not having to fuel up because it's my pet hate. I just don't like the 'germs'... if you know what I mean.

As for your training and learning the new game, it sounds like a lot. I seriously don't know how you do it. You sure have a persistence that I don't have when it comes to such things!

What else have you been up to? Do you go out with people to a cafe or such like?
