Chest pain and nausea

Hi

I get bad nausea and chest pains. My gp said its probably just my anxiety. My chest feels tight crampy and like its being crushed...
Im just wondering does anyone else get these symptoms and what did you find helps to relieve it?

I'm good today. I have been having panic attacks yesterday not so intense today.

I am glad to hear you are getting some rain- I wish I had some.

Ok ill see about getting there in the morning. Isnt 20 to young to have a heart issue

I am not a Doctor but if I was having chest pain, I would get it seen to- it could be number of reasons why you are having chest pains and I don't want to alarm you but I would rather it be nothing then incase its something more serious. It could be asthma or something with your lung or heart or anxiety or virus?

How long have you been having chest pain?

You could phone your local accident & emergncy and speak to a nurse and see what they recommend you do?

Ive had it for a few months now. My gp just took my bp and said it was normal and i as i have severe anxiety its more than likely that thata causing the pain

The chest pain has subsidised thank god but the nausea is still really bad today

Hi @Former-Member,

I'm glad to hear that the chest pain has subsided and that you have managed to book in another appointment with your GP.

Having chest pain can be a symptom of anxiety, particularly panic attacks but it is still good to get another opinion just to be sure.

What support do you have for the anxiety you experience? Are there any strategies you use that help during times when the anxiety is getting intense?
