My life sucks

@Blackcloud the medication is giving my intense SI (I'm safe) and I'm feeling so tired, I've had a headache for 3 days so today I've been snuggled up with Casper on my lounge just resting.

I actually am about to start a paid role working in the phone crisis support but I have lots of doubts and worries surrounding this so I've just sent an email to the trainer that assessed me yesterday so hoping I can hear back from him.

I don't think I can really do it so since then I've been having non stop thoughts surrounding it haha 😛 but I wanna do it because I thought it'd be nice to get some extra income, but also be able to gain some prior experience that can allow me to have opportunities to pursue other relevant paid roles in the future (and build my confidence surrounding these kinds of face-to-face and/or inbound crisis/counselling type calls), especially considering that I'd like to do peer work

@Blackcloud i read about you starting the paid role which i think is amazing. But i do understand the worries and doubts behind it, I'm hoping he will reply to you soon and be able to help ease some of that for you.

I believe you can do it sweet, you've been doing it already for volunteer work so this is just a step up from that. I know it's scary but starting anything new is, it's just taking baby steps at a time while you find your way through. You've got this sweet ❤️.

@MissGremlin Thank you friend ❤️ I hope I can make it as well when that time comes, despite going to work in that role for 3 days a week (4 hours each shift) I hope by continuing to do it that I'll be able to ease some of those concerns that have been bottling up, like I was able to as a digital (text/chat) crisis supporter volunteer.

4 hours each shift (4 hours x 3 days) I think is good for me to manage. Initially I wanted to do it 2 days a week, but I thought adding another day would be good, just for me to get used to it quite a bit and hopefully build up some skills along the way as well as getting that bit of extra income 💸

Hi @Blackcloud 😊 thank you for re-tagging me; sorry its taken a few days for me! My emails have been.. to many and im getting lost in them 🥺. Im trying to go through them when i can to figure out what i've already read or not.

I've been ok mostly the past week. Very tired though, so had lots of extra rest time. But still feeling exhausted.
