My life sucks
And I have no hope that it’ll get better, despite being told by everyone that spoken to that it would. But I know for a fact that it won’t, not even in decades time.

@rav3n I’m doing much better thankfully!! 🙂 I went out for a bit of a walk this morning, though I’ve been feeling that my life has been all boring along with some thoughts I’ve been having (about the future - I’m pessimistic about it. But I am a pessimistic person in general) as well. They just happen, you know. Nothing I can really do about it.

@Blackcloud glad to hear you're feeling better!!
walks are where i do most my daydreaming hehe. i hear you about those thoughts, sometimes all we can do is just let it pop by and leave.
that's totally okay if you're a pessimistic person - you've got some optimistic friends here (like myself) to balance things out if it gets too dark 😋

@rav3n that's why I'm so grateful to be part of this community where I do feel supported by the wonderful people including the peer support workers like you to be there for me with that ❤️ 🙂
right now i'm waiting for a response back from the accessibility services regarding my concerns and enquiries about having to do exams and (possibly the) non-open book tests for my bachelors degree, as well as if its possible that the university (if i'll apply the certificate through the university) would be able to provide or i guess...allow me to look for online (text-based) services myself where i can do placements (in the future, whenever i can do the cert IV in mental health) at, as I know that talking to people (face to face and/or phone) won't actually help me with it, despite my barriers with social communications...which is why I can usually thrive at online (text) communication only when it comes to talking to customers/clients, so
but damn that accessibility services actually takes long (like a few days) to respond back to you. im guessing one of the accessibility consultants that i've just got assigned to regarding my enquiry about the cert IV in mental health one either: 1. has sent an email to the staff team of that certificate about my enquiry and is waiting for their response, or 2. has not read the email yet.. like i just want responses 😂
edit: on top of all that, I’ve also been thinking a lot about how I should’ve already been starting/doing a bachelors degree considering that I’m already 5 years late onto starting it after graduating high school…. since soooo many people have started doing a bachelor degree after they graduated high school. Like the thought about potentially graduating/finishing the degree around my late 20s is…. Yeah….😬 and then you got the postgraduate degree too after that

@Blackcloud aww yes we're always here 💜
oh yep that makes a lot of sense. got my fingers crossed that they get back to you soon, it's hard waiting and not getting any updates! i also wonder, if doing a 'digital mental health certificate' or something similar could be a backup? all i know is that the course focuses on navigating the digital space, you'll probably need to do much more research IF its something you'd like to look into!
oh i hear you!! but please know that you're NOT alone. switching courses or taking longer to get started doesn't mean you're 'behind' - you're just on a different path! my cousin did a 3 year bachelor of science + 1 year honours after high school... and then after working 1 year in a science role but didn't like it. she went back to uni and did ANOTHER bachelors in optometry and a masters in it, which i think was another 4-5 years of study... and now she's happy in her job! i also have a friend who never jumped between courses and certificates - and she never finished her bachelors but gave birth (she's a young mum, in her 20s too!) and she's working in retail part-time. i think she's planning to head back to studies after her kids a lil older. i'm sharing these to just remind you that there's no 'set' path, and you're doing great. you're right where you need to be 😊

@rav3n @AuntGlow by the way I just came across this really interesting video, and it makes complete sense as to why many Aussies have left this country to live in Asia, since Asia is more affordable than everything on here. Also, what’s frustrating about my mum is that she still considers australia to be the ‘lucky’ country to live at, with the main reason being because we have Centrelink and because it’s “safe” here…. I mean, yes I agree with the Centrelink part, but like, still…you know… but as we all know, Australia has never been a good country to live at (not right now apparently) due to the rise of cost of living, but also because of increase of youth crimes, the legal system here being a joke (how soft they are on crimes & police not willing to do sh#%) etc…

@AuntGlow Oh I see. I was under the impression that by you guys not responding, that responding to it might’ve lead to some political discussions or something, or maybe something that you guys aren’t too sure what to say about it.

considering the type of person that my dad has always been, (((which explains why him and I don’t have any connections with each other - like we dont talk at all but he unfortunately lives with my mum still. Plus, he’s an abuser & always thinks and acts like he’s above all of us, and he always goes on my mum’s phone so he tends to see/read any messages I sent to my mum which my mum unfortunately doesn’t mind him opening her phone sooo….))),
would I feel sad by the time he’ll ever be gone in the future?? I absolutely hope NOT!!!!
and I always say that my mum married the wrong man because I know she did.

@Blackcloud that's so rough sweet. Not even i like the fact that he can read messages sent, that just feels like a massive invasion of privacy.
Sending you hugs ❤️
