@Shaz51 I'm so glad you asked!

  • Your Star (Sun) sign is said to reveal your life’s purpose, who you are at your core
  • Your Moon sign reflects your emotional/inner world
  • Your Rising sign highlights your motivation for life and your sense of self, or how you might be seen by others

It's a lot of fun to look into! You can find your whole birth chart online. 💫

Thank you so much for sharing a bit about you. I can see you have been managing a lot of challenges, and I can only imagine how hard this must feel at times. I hope that you find lots of comfort within the connections you have made here. @Shaz51 Do you know what time you were born? (it helps you create the chart!).

And that's amazing - I am sure I can learn a lot from you. 😊

Re: Welcome AuntGlow!

Hello @Bow! I am sorry it has taken me a while to get back you. (I am still learning how to wrangle multiple chats!)

I also love an iced chai - how do you feel about matcha?

Oh my goodness, those Disney lego castles are amazing!! How long did they take you to build? My best friend is a huge Disney fan too. What was your favourite part of the parks?

I am very much a theatre girly, so I perform here and there and direct too! I think facilitating an arts and crafts group would be so rewarding and cathartic, what a wonderful space to provide for your community.

Christmas in the UK would have been magical, I am so jealous! Please tell me you saw some theatre on the West End. 🤩

Re: Welcome AuntGlow!

Hi @AuntGlow

I haven’t tried matcha before. Have you? Do you rate it?

the big Disney castles take a while. The darker coloured one I tried to just limit myself to a bag a day. And it had something like 30 bags. The lighter coloured one was a bit different. I bought it off eBay and it had previously been built, so it was all just in a big bag partially together. So it took me AGES to pull it completely apart, then I tried to sort the pieces into containers. And then it was a task to build cause I had to find every single piece! But I love the process!

we have been to the Anaheim parks and then Paris Disney at the beginning of this year when we went to the UK. Anaheim was a couple of years ago and my daughter was 6. We loved finding all the characters and getting photos with them and their autographs. We did some rides and went on our favorite ones over and over. And it was just the atmosphere. It’s so magical. The parades. The fireworks. We spent a week and half there.

Paris Disney was different. Not as good. We only did one day. Ride waits were crazy long. Only seen a few characters. But you still get the atmosphere which is so magical!

I love the theater too! I’ve seen a few musicals… Mary Poppins x3! (My fav), the lion king, frozen, we even went to a small local theater group a couple of months ago for Mary Poppins and I was totally impressed! We just booked another local group to see Alice in wonderland. Also seen the ballet in the city of Alice in wonderland, but I did not enjoy that as much. But was impressed by the dancing.

we talked about going and seeing a show while in london, but it just didn’t happen. We had packed our days full so much we were just so exhausted come evenings!

what kind of shows have you done? They really impress me!

arts and craft can be hit and miss. It’s for the organisation that my support worker is from. They run groups every day of the week. Wednesday is arts and craft. The last 2 weeks we did Mother’s Day cards. It was heaps nice seeing the pride in the other clients with the cards they made. I help run it when i can- just don’t like the pressure.

Re: Welcome AuntGlow!

Good afternoon @Bow,

I have... I am trying to like it more because I hear it is really good for you! 🤭

Oh wow, I think I would struggle to focus for that long. haha what do you enjoy about the process?

That honestly sounds so wonderful. I am sure that it ignited your inner child too. I would probably feel rather emotional being in that space (in a good way!).

Ah, I see, that's unfortunate... how did you feel about Paris though? The architecture is something else - and the Eifel tower lit up at night: 🤩

Oooh yes, you have seen some absolute classics!! I have been lucky enough to see quite a lot of theatre in my time. When I went to the West End I saw a smaller musical called The Choir of Man, which has stuck with me. Something about it was so honest, playful, and immersive. I love stuff like that.

Speaking of, how did you feel about the Wicked movie? ✨

I have done some independent theatre projects as well as some cabaret-style shows, thank you for asking!

What did you end up doing in London?

Oh, that sounds so lovely. Though, I do understand how pressure can be a lot sometimes. Good on you for putting yourself out there, facilitation takes a lot of confidence and courage. 😊
