Daily goals, motivation and check in

Daily goals, motivation and check in

I'm starting this discussion as a place where we can set our goals daily, help motivate each other to do them and then check in with how we went. It's a place to celebrate when we achieve them or just sit with each other if we didnt and are feeling down about it. Hopefully with encouragement and support from each other we'll tick lots of boxes for our daily goals and feel good about it. Please join in. 😊

I've had a bathing day! Me, my young dog and my little dog are all clean 🙂 Not much, but I think it's a start. Now to sit and procrastinate about the dirty dishes and clothes 😄

River walk ? - if I don't reduce my waistline by mud year my lady dr is getting itchy-scratchy to run medical tests on me, not prepared to listen that the excess weight is stress induced and too messy without a WH diagnosis to try to keep arguing it .... gonna keep moving my butt and try to get it over that line .....

@Faith-and-Hope, you are so active alreafy, I so relate to stress and weight gain and Dr not listening, always presuming were stuffing ourselves... The only thing that helps get me down is 'Intermittent Fasting' (2days a week where you consume less than 150cal day).

My aunt had a massive stroke today, not looking good. The same thing took her sister and my dads next in line. Pitty it happened on dads birthday. Kind of go somber (numb) when such bad news comes, start drifting, disconnect. Don't suppose we ever get use to loss.

Tried to connect with kids - not one picked up, such is life 💜💕

Oh, that's a really hard day for you @Former-Member ..... sending a big hug your way Hon .....

Intermittent fasting is part of our faith practices ... the two days a week are Wed for the betrayal and Fri for the Crucifixion .... in the ancient Jewish faith practice I think it was Mon and Thurs ..... not sure on that, but it's been there from antiquity. Fasting is on a spectrum ..,, the most austere level is no animal products except shellfish (so no dairy) and no oil .... most parishioners don't go to the no oil level except Holy Friday and another half-doz days in the church calendar.

Taking animal products out of the diet sure drops the cal loading .... and you only eat till just satiated ...., and being charitable is part of fasting too .... not one without the other.
