Daily goals, motivation and check in

Daily goals, motivation and check in

I'm starting this discussion as a place where we can set our goals daily, help motivate each other to do them and then check in with how we went. It's a place to celebrate when we achieve them or just sit with each other if we didnt and are feeling down about it. Hopefully with encouragement and support from each other we'll tick lots of boxes for our daily goals and feel good about it. Please join in. 😊

@Faith-and-Hope, so cool that you escaped the gardener, and instead are having an orange and green smoothie. Nice alternative plan.

Woops, @Shaz51, missed that last message from you just before. I wonder what hubby would prefer you both to do instead of forum time. I'm online a lot too but my companion is just as much of a computer nerd as me. So most nights we sit on opposite sides of the room to each other and just look up and wave and smile every now and then. Lol.

@Shaz51, haha, didn't realise that's what you and hubby do too. It works okay between us here but sometimes I get sick of screens, including the TV screen and the tablet screen. Sometimes I just feel the need to turn them all off for a while, and try to do something else, or chat, or just sit quietly for a bit. My companion is a more into the screens than me (which is really saying something!) I never imagined being such a full-on computer person before I met him, lol. I wonder why hubby would get annoyed if you're both doing the same thing. Maybe you are more into it than him? I can't see any problem with that, just throwing around thoughts really.

Hello @Mazarita

I wonder why hubby would get annoyed -- I think he thinks he has wasted the afternoon just sitting at the computer -- he thinks he should of done something

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

@Shaz51, yep, I get up and down from the computer too, though not as good at the doing things around the flat as you and @Faith-and-Hope. But it sounds like hubby is getting annoyed with himself. I feel for him getting frustrated but it's hard for anyone else to help us when we are like that. There's only ourselves, by doing something else. Glad you still take your Shaz time on here anyway.

@Former-Member this is the daily goals thread.

@Former-Member How are you going today? Lovely to read of your successes. My children x4 are mostly young adults studying or in an apprenticeship. I don't know how I'd do it with little ones like @CheerBear, @Former-Member, @Former-Member who I take my hat off for.
