Angry and alone

Angry and alone

Hi. I know I should write some sort of intro but just don't really know what there is to say.

I'm feeling angry and alone and like there's no one who cares.

@TheVorticon Oh I'll have some of those, apricot coconut balls sound delish!

Re: Angry and alone

@Spookytookims yeah they're good. I managed to make 14, and already ate 1.. So help yourself to the others. If you run out, the rest of the mix is mocking me from the middle of the table.

Re: Angry and alone

Love the word choice @TheVorticon Yes things like that often mock me too come to think of it. Do they have dried aprocots in them, or other? My vacuum cleaner is kind of mocking me at the moment it's looking at me in a weird way, I should be using it.

what kind of skating you into!

Hi @Zoe7

@Spookytookims my vacuum cleaner tried that once. Locked him in the cupboard and he hasn't made that mistake again.

Re: Angry and alone

Lol @Spookytookims @TheVorticon.
The coconut apricot balls sound delicious. You sound like a good cook. You talking ice, roller, or another type of skating?
I grew up near a roller skating rink and spent Friday and Saturday nights there & Sunday afternoons. Was my teen years

Re: Angry and alone

@Spookytookims @utopia it's just chopped dried apricot, coconut, condensed milk, rolled into balls and rolled in more coconut 😛 Been making them every so often since I was like 5.

Skateboarding, but I actually can't do it. Never had one as a kid. Got one now but can't go anywhere in public with it to practise.

That sounds good @utopia, I hardly ever went to the skate rink. Did more on-foot indoor hockey there than roller skating/blading.

Re: Angry and alone

now that's an idea @TheVorticon... mine even has eyes on it.. and it's called George.. so sticking George in the cupboard may well teach him a lesson.

Hmm those balls you are making do sound yum. The sweet balanced with the dried apricots and coconut would work really well. Not sure I could only have one though, probably have to pinch 2 or 3.

That's a bummer you don't have anywhere to ride your skateboard. There is an empty no longer used public pool fairly near here and the skateboarders climb the fence and use that. They are pretty imaginative they set up boards and all sorts in there to make their jumps and use the sides of the pool for elevation and do some speccy things twirls and somersaults.. I have no idea of the skateboard lingo for them I am sure it all has technical names. Looks really cool though and scary how they get so high, must be super fun to be able to do that stuff.

Hello @utopia and @Zoe7

Re: Angry and alone

I didn't even think of skateboarding @TheVorticon. But that would be great to learn. If you are in flats - maybe you have an undercover car park - or maybe a driveway you could start practicing in. I wonder if there are classes that someone teaches beginners. That would be good.
Your apricot coconut balls sound a lit like my chocolate co onut balls. Yummm

Re: Angry and alone

Here's hoping George mends his ways @Spookytookims.

Sorry @Spookytookims@utopia but talking about skating just isn't helpful.
