Catching up on all the chats just as i wind down in bed. @MissGremlin @NightFury @Appleblossom @Cuddlebear @Shaz51 . I love how supportive you all are of each other, even though we each all have our own struggles too we still care and look out for each other. 🥰 thank you all.
@Appleblossom i am glad you are feeling a little better than you had been lately. I know you have been through a lot both off forum and even on-forum sometimes. I hope ypur various choirs continue during the holiday season? I know they bring you some connection now which is so important in the face-to-face realm too.
@MissGremlin @NightFury i hope you continue to enjoy a bit more lego tomorrow 😊.
@MissGremlin i was glad to read they called back today. But i am sorry you felt they were pushing you to cancel. I am glad you did not cancel it and you pushed for them to process it. I am so proud that you continue to tell them how urgent and impirtant this is to get support. I know it is hard, and so painful when the response is not as helpful as it could be; i also agree and find it heartbreaking how hard it can be to get the support needed. Part of why i am so glad for this forum, in part a fallback for when we need some interim support ourselves, but also because it gives us the opportunity to encourage you and validate your feelings and needs, and be here for you whilst you advocate for your needs.
@Cuddlebear i am so proud that you pushed to get that service to accept your referral. I didnt realise they had tried to say you were ineligible. I do hope you get a new referral if/when you need to re-access their support.
I have once had to argue for a public health system review appointment after having a referral from my GP. Intake were happy to assess me, but didnt want to provide what my GP had referred me for.
