Life can be a Pain

Life can be a Pain

Hi @BlueBay@Zoe7@Former-Member@Faith-and-Hope@utopia@oceangirl@TAB@Shaz51@PeppiPatty

I know there are more people I could tag but maybe I will think them up as I go along - actually I already have

I think I need my own thread - mostly my problem is chronic pain syndrome - I damaged my spine with the sporting excesses of my youth - a long time ago now - and I managed to rearrange it when I fell of my pushbike in a wind storm nearly 22 years ago and that seems a long time ago now but there is nothing they can do except treat the pain - and I do have Section 8 medication and I see a pain specialist

And the pain has been worse lately and wears me down and I get fed up and very tired -

I have issues with my mother as well - and although she died 2 years ago I still have bad times now and again - she was abusive and as well as I know myself and her this can get to me at times - and this is another reason I opened my own thread

Then there is TS - my Toxic Sister - she was under my skin for a while but not at the moment

So yesterday I felt so bad when I went to see the doctor about my back pain - and my pain specialist has cut my medication back several times over the last few years and she has gone too far - and I started to tell my doctor - yes - I cope with the pain better since my mother died - but it's driving me crackers atm and so are the memories of my mother

So that's it for now - I have had trouble opening this thread for some reason but now I have - I will run my own story - I would like to think I don't need to but yes - I do

You are all such wonderful supportive people - you are my soft place to land - that is so true

And anyone I have missed I will tag as I go along

Lots of hugs everyone

Re: Life can be a Pain

Hi @Former-Member

I love the jumping cats - I am glad to report than Companion Cat has not jumped at me or on me after my trip to Sydney - my daughter was in the day I came back and told her that I would be back in a few hours and to just go to sleep and when she woke up I would be home

And she must have understood because she came straight to me when I came in the door and talked to me briefly - ran inside and out a bit as if she didn't know whether she wanted to be outside or inside with me - then lwhen I settled down with some dinner and the TV she sat on my lap and has been the perfect little cat ever since

So I have no idea what ailed her when I went to Lakes Entrance - I can't exactly explain to her that I will be back in a few days but maybe if I go away every three or four months she will get used to me being away for a few days

It's taking me a while to catch up physically from either all the walking I did while I was away or perhaps the long wait I had for the locum doctor when I got back - 7 hours is too long - and I am paying for it.

Still - I will keep having my trips while I can - I am not getting any younger and people look amazed when they learn I am travelling alone - but I would be waiting for a long time to have someone travel with me

Great to see you here and thanks for the jumping cats - they do remind me of the fun my cat thought she was having the last time I was back from a holiday

Re: Life can be a Pain

Copy it, and learn from it @outlander ......

You can't claim it as your own, and you can't sell it because under copyright laws the image belongs to the original artist ..... but in having a go at it, and any other artwork, you can learn from it.

I think you will enjoy this style.

Re: Life can be a Pain

Re: Life can be a Pain

Have a go @outlander. It doesn't matter whether it turns out anything like this image or not. What matters is that enjoy the process and learn from it. Use different colours if you like, putting purple everywhere you see green, for instance.

i am out at the moment, but when I go home I will copy and paste this conversation into the art thread as well as leaving this here .....

Hi @Former-Member@Faith-and-Hope@outlander@Former-Member

I have had strong pain and I am taking cort izone - but that's not why I have not been writing

I have unintententionally hurt two people now in the forum family - and this is not how I want to behave and I have been reading the site and know people are battling

But if what I write causes other people pain then I can't really be affective here and I have been feeling so sorry

I have gained so much insight here - I know that I have passed through dark periods in my lifetime but I have never been mentally ill - maybe this is a problem - I don't know - but upsetting other people is not good and something I don't want to do again

Re: Life can be a Pain

oh @Owlunar

I feel for you so much

I have recently done the same with more than one person

I know that there have been more in the past

I was devastated the other day could not stop crying....now depression is starting to win again....really makes me cross with myself

please do not stay away because of others or how others react...respond...

written language can cause so much strife at times....the writer has no control over how the reader interprets the words....add some sensitivity.....vulnerability etc and anything can happen

I have also been dwelling on whether or not I should have a break from here.

then I think well if I do have a break it will be when I want to ......I find some relief from reading others posts and responding.

I know that you have always answered with good intention and honesty

you are well respected on here and missed....

sooooo...if you want to have a break from here do so because it is for you not for anyone else...

does that make sense?

you can always stay on one thread that you like best...this one??? astrology one??

which is your favourite?
