Life can be a Pain

Life can be a Pain

Hi @BlueBay@Zoe7@Former-Member@Faith-and-Hope@utopia@oceangirl@TAB@Shaz51@PeppiPatty

I know there are more people I could tag but maybe I will think them up as I go along - actually I already have

I think I need my own thread - mostly my problem is chronic pain syndrome - I damaged my spine with the sporting excesses of my youth - a long time ago now - and I managed to rearrange it when I fell of my pushbike in a wind storm nearly 22 years ago and that seems a long time ago now but there is nothing they can do except treat the pain - and I do have Section 8 medication and I see a pain specialist

And the pain has been worse lately and wears me down and I get fed up and very tired -

I have issues with my mother as well - and although she died 2 years ago I still have bad times now and again - she was abusive and as well as I know myself and her this can get to me at times - and this is another reason I opened my own thread

Then there is TS - my Toxic Sister - she was under my skin for a while but not at the moment

So yesterday I felt so bad when I went to see the doctor about my back pain - and my pain specialist has cut my medication back several times over the last few years and she has gone too far - and I started to tell my doctor - yes - I cope with the pain better since my mother died - but it's driving me crackers atm and so are the memories of my mother

So that's it for now - I have had trouble opening this thread for some reason but now I have - I will run my own story - I would like to think I don't need to but yes - I do

You are all such wonderful supportive people - you are my soft place to land - that is so true

And anyone I have missed I will tag as I go along

Lots of hugs everyone

Hi @Owlunar im sorry you’re not well. Migraines csn be so debilitating. I know I’ve had a few recently. Glad though you have a doctors appt this afternoon.

I’m nit in a good headspace today. Had done terrible flashbacks of my abuse which has left me very very sngry.

Good news on your grand daughter and hope your daughter had her surgery soon.

Take care @Owlunar you have always been in my mind even when we didn’t communicate. ❤️❤️

I hate those times when everything needs your attention at once @Owlunar. No wonder you are tired. I would be too. Hopefully your migraine will ease as the day progresses. Sending you hugs ❤

hello @Owlunar

Thank you for replying under such stretched times...

You do not need to be concerned about being there for others..

Being there for yourself and family will be draining all of your energy alongside life and it's daily challenges..

I too am of no use to anyone at the moment...

@BlueBay Thinking of you at such extremely difficult times...

@Former-Member Thinking of you also as you get through this time...

@utopia Hoping that life is being kinder to you...

Hi @BlueBay

I have been there for you all that time too - in the background - praying for you and sometimes crying - I had a need for my own boundaries which had nothing to do with you

If it has any meaning I think other people were more sensitive because of the way things fell out - and that has to be a good thing -

And @utopia - BlueBay - I saw my doctor late this afternoon - he gave me something strong for my migraine and it has gone away now which is a relief - when I woke up this morning there was someone using a power saw on trees or hedges of something - it seemed to be right inside my head - aw - I guess the sheer weight of stuff got to me -

I spoke to my daughter and grand-daughter on the phone this evening - I get tense about these important issues being communicated with text messages - I find it awkward to text anything long even though I used predictive text so I rang up. I told my daughter this has been going on too long and suggested she see her GP about moving the surgeon along if possible and she thinks that's a good idea - I hope it happens quickly

Thanks for the flowers @Faith-and-Hope - yes - I love Australian natives and they are lovely

Just to an in an extra - my cat tends to scratch - from bossiness rather than nastiness - I am always sporting scratches with yellow ointment making it obvious - over the weekend she clawed me badly on my arm and it has improved over the weekend but I showed my GP and the photos and he is concerned - I really hate this but the cat might have to go - I refuse to get upset - I have had the cat for a long time and I think she might be getting too bossy and that's a problem - I'm giving her another chance - let's wait and see -

Everything happens at once

And thanks everyone @Adge@Zoe7@Sophia1 and everyone else
