The Sane Cattery: Because normal is overrated

I have ducted air @ENKELI . Works real well and I have solar panels so sometimes power bills are in credit. Getting new panels soon (my panels are old) and a battery. Had to withdraw some super to cover cost but hoping it will be worth it. Drinks are just barely keeping me awake though might allow myself a 15 minute snooze.

@Jynx Took it easy in the afternoon. Tried to read but was too sleepy to read much. Trying to stay awake so sleep tonight. Will be an early night for me. It’s going to be hot tonight - will leave air on. Mild tomorrow according to the forecast. And then cool for a few days before it gets hot again. Going for mammogram Monday such fun not the machines are too high fir me it’s uncomfortable.

Oh those procedures can be intense hey @GezzaP - hope it goes ok on Monday 🤞

@GezzaP I'm glad you've got ducted air and solar panels. I am kicking myself I didn't take advantage of the schemes available when solar panels first came out.

You mentioned before you had a healthy super so I would be doing the same as you and upgrading. I will be getting an inheritance when my father dies plus my super is also pretty healthy so I will be doing the same thing. I have 3 years before I can access my super and I'm praying I find work in the new year so I can start contributing to it again.

Yay, hay fever! Hope the meds sort it out for you. I didn't sleep last night and it was around 7am when I finally drifted off for a couple of hours. Apart from the heat I don't feel too bad and the 100 year old air conditioner is doing its job. I can't wait to get ducted!

It was 37 here in Adelaide yesterday @ENKELI . 26 today with a cool breeze. 23 for next two days. Yay! I just had a nap. Cheese and ham toastie for dinner. Had a big lunch.

@GezzaP mmm cheese and ham toastie. Yum! I will have to dig through the freezer and see if I have any ham because that sounds like a perfect dinner.

Is it wrong that I wish my emotionally abusive absentee father to pass so I can get my inheritance and have air con installed?! Yeah that's probably not good.
