Something’s not right

Don’t want to accept the pain

Don’t want to accept the pain

Why can’t I pretend the pain isn’t real, maybe if I tell myself I’m okay and I don’t struggle with mental health I’ll be okay. Maybe if I tell myself that the traumatic memories aren’t real, then I can finally feel whole and less gross. Maybe I’ll just wake up from this dream soon and I’ll find peace within my mind when I do wake up. Maybe I’m okay, maybe there isn’t anything wrong with me

@AuntGlow they say listening to delta waves before you sleep helps you sleep better. Delta waves tend to be higher when we are in deep sleep. It sort of slows down your brain and makes you sleepy, which is what what I need right now.

I have tried progressive muscle relaxation before, it can release some of the tension.

@creative_writer That is so interesting!! Okay, let me know how you go with the Delta waves and PMR, and if we need to try some other strategies, that's completely fine - we can do that. ☺️

Although I hope you are already sleeping soundly! 💛✨

@AuntGlow I’m in bed now, might listen to a bit more delta wave audio track and do PMR along with it. My brain is becoming wired again, and I’m hyperventilating. I also feel uncomfortable in my body again

Re: Don’t want to accept the pain

@creative_writer Okay, that's okay. These things can be very cyclical - it just means there's more tension in the body that is asking to be released. Could you explore some movement for a few minutes before jumping back into bed?

@AuntGlow I had to take PRN to settle, still a bit agitated, but I think I’ll need to let it pass.

Being in a mixed episode is really hard, especially when the SI urges become stronger

I know last night was feeling quite intense for you, so I am wondering how you are this evening @creative_writer?

Would also love to hear about one small thing that you can see has been a win for you today? 💕

Re: Don’t want to accept the pain

@AuntGlow I’m feeling better after the PRN. I don’t know why I didn’t take it earlier.

I’m going to do a little head massage. I don’t have good circulation. It helps with migraines, stress and hair shedding. I was shedding shit lots of hair earlier this year. Probably the stress. I am praying for its recovery

@creative_writer Yay! That's so good to hear.

Massage is great for stimulating circulation. I really hope this helps; I will be praying for you too. 💛
