Looking for support

I'm not sure if I can @RiverSeal . The thought of letting someone in to see that side of me really does feel scary.

Maybe I should disappear, wouldn't that be easier?

My head is filled with thoughts of suicide and the peace that it would bring. I don't know what to do.

I'm sorry you feel that way @Hopeandlove. You are a valued member of the community and there are a lot of ways you can engage with the Forums community. I encourage you to think deeply about what it is you want out of the Forums and to take some time to explore the many threads and ways to engage with the communtiy.

I don't know how to navigate the forums properly. I've only spoken to a few people within this thread @RiverSeal .

Start by looking at the home page https://saneforums.org/ and look through the latest discussions, then click on the events and space. It's like a rabbit warren, so you can get deeper and deeper into discussions and things. You can't break anything, so have a bit of a look and see what you can find @HopeandloveI. I'm sorry that I've been so down @RiverSeal . I was told a couple of weeks ago that I don't have long left to live as the cancer has started to spread and the treatments aren't having an affect. I haven't been able to process the information and not having people around to talk to or get support from makes it really isolating.

I'm sorry to hear that @Hopeandlove and the Forums can be a great place to support you through this time. I can't imagine how you feel about that news, but I'm sure it is very challenging to cope with. I'm sure if you share that information with others, you will hear insights from others, perhaps with similar stories of major life challenges. There are many amazingly supportive Members here!
