@rav3n I haven't gotten a fine before, but there was a time where I ALMOST got one 😛 so i was on the tram and that day i forgot to bring my myki card, so after the inspectors came on the tram, that's when i realized. and then they caught me after i told them i forgot to bring my myki so they had to wrote up a report on me, and i was trying to show them my concession card on my myGov app but it was taking quite long for me to look for it on my phone so I had to continue on with answering their questions. well, by the time it got to the tram stop that i was meant to get off, i told them that i need to get off the tram and they let me off. well thank god I didn't get to tell them my address before I did that! so luckily i've never received anything regarding the fine through the mail since they didnt even finish the report, and they werent able to get my address WOOHOO!!!
but yeah I did get a warning during my first one which happened 4 years ago, and I'm still really mad about the guy that made the report on me because he really was brutal and had utterly no respect 😞 also, i remember the asian lady (she was south east asian and a ticket inspector as well, and she was with him and the other male ticket inspector that came as well) was just standing there looking at me for a bit while the guy was telling on me. her looking at me and didnt care threw me off so bad not gonna lie.
im not sure if the $300 ones have a shared kitchen but i really hope they sure dont.
from what ive checked through google maps, it would take me like around 35-ish minutes to get from there to the CBD. is it worth the saving? in terms of the rent yes, but in terms of the public transport ticket fares, i wouldnt say so, even though i have the concession/pensioner concession version of the ticket/card so the price is cheaper than the full fare one, but still
