Its completely normal for anyone to have trouble describing people after a situation like that! Its not exactly where the mind is at the time.

You definitely have good cause to get the land agent to improve the security. Unless they had keys, changing the locks is completely insufficient! Deadbolts at a bare minimum. Id be contacting a rental tribunal, or whoever looks after this stuff, to see what you rights are. I know it wasnt anyone you knew, but maybe a DV service would have some advice for you. Its not asking much just to feel safe in your own home.

I'm so sorry you've had to deal with this which would be bad enough at any time, but on top of eveything else must be so incredible difficult. I don't suppose you have anywhere else you could stay tonight? I know I'd be struggling to sleep in the same situation. Did the police have any suggestions/advice for you at all??
