Re: Life and trauma
Hey @Former-Member. Sorry to hear its another extremely tough night. Try not to worry if you cant see things changing right now as most of us will find it difficult in these very low times. Just try to accept that its possible... that enough to start with.
I hipe your doctore can help tomorrow. As @Oaktree wisely suggested, be open and honest with them. I know its hard in the moment and its easy to forget things, so a cery common thing people do is write everything down before hand and take that with you. You could even just give them your notes to read instead of telling them.

Re: Life and trauma
@MJG017 hello. I've missed our chats and I'm sorry I've let you down.
I've actually done that (written things down) but I have to then find the courage to give that to my doctor.

@Former-Member You haven't let me down in any way. You continue to impress me with the fight that you keep showing, especially in the face of all the things you are dealing with.
I think its important you give them the notes, so maybe give it to them as soon as you get there, before you have a chance to talk yourself out of it.

Re: Life and trauma
@MJG017 I'm just so exhausted from constantly fighting.
Maybe, we will see what happens. I have to find the strength first to get myself to the appointment

Re: Life and trauma
@Former-Member Yeah, i know its exhausting. It one of the reasons I say you show such incredible strength and resilence in continuing to fight the way you do. I hope that chaating to people here is lightening that weight on you a bit and reminds you that you dont have to fight this completely alone.

It’s so important to get to that appointment tomorrow. Please make sure that you go! I like @MJG017 ’s idea of writing everything down and just giving that to the doctor.

@MJG017 it's nice to know I'm not completely alone in this but as I've said i really don't want to let anyone down.

Re: Life and trauma
@Oaktree i will try to get there, just anxiety is really not helping the situation. I've got a list of things written down so we will just have to see how things go.

Re: Life and trauma
@Former-Member I dont see that as being possible. Everyone here who has read what youve written completely understands just how hard it is for you. So its not a matter of letting anyone down or not, its about helping you fight and hoping that we can help and not letting you down. So lets just agree that no one here is letting anyone down. Rather just lending some help to someone doing the best anyone could ever ask from them and hoping things can start to improve.

Re: Life and trauma
@MJG017 ok. When you have been let down all your life by professionals who are supposed to help you and even told by your own mother that you are a mistake and that you shouldn't have been born it's just really hard to believe that anyone could care. But believe me I'm really trying to find that trust that maybe not everyone is the same and maybe there are people out there that care and want to help.
