Re: Life and trauma
@MJG017 i did do some reading last year and was enjoying it, i finished 1 whole book and started another but i just lost interest again. Things started getting rough and picking up a book just felt too much.
Yeah they can change alot but the baseline is there at least. I read ones that are called twisted tales, so whilst it's based on an original tale it's twisted to change certain parts which then alters the story. Even though I read one I can only recall little bits of it, but if I started reading it again it would come flooding back and become overwhelming. Think my brain is just broken 😂

I think all of out brains are slightly dented or cracked to some extent. Sometimes it's just being really bad at math or struggling to make edible food. Sometimes it how to make friends or see ourselves in a positive light.
And some of us get to grow up around people who chip away at those dents and cracks and smash away until the brain is the equivalent of a Barbie that been left outside for a years and the dogs have chewing on it!
So we're not broken, we're just toys someone neglected. Hmmm.... that's not really better is it?

Re: Life and trauma
@MJG017 a toy that's been used and abused, rolled in the mud, chucked against the wall a few million times, stomped on, been left in puddles of water, thrown up into the air and let come crashing back down to earth. Nope not better at all 😂.
I was asleep but just woke up having a panic attack, my mind feels like it's everywhere at once right now, darting here and there thinking of everything the day will hold.
Trying to take some deep breaths, we have been through this so many times before and we can get through it again, can't we?

@MJG017 why do places bother to make appointments if they aren't going to keep them. Feeling so let down yet again 😞
@Ru-bee @rav3n @Jynx is anyone around at all?

Hey Grem, I'm here @Former-Member
That's so so frustrating and disappointing. Have they at least reached out and offered to reschedule?

Re: Life and trauma
Hello @Ru-bee, thanks.
Nope, they were supposed to ring at 9.30am but I haven't heard anything at all. Really was my last hope of trying to sort something out housing wise. It's 11 days now until I'm homeless, can't believe my lease runs out on my birthday 😞.

I get it, it would be really hard to keep that hope up when you keep being let down @Former-Member Are you able to call them and ask what happened?

Re: Life and trauma
@Ru-beeit's just reminding me that I've been let down all my life one way or another. Ringing them means making a phone call and I'm just not up for that at the moment. I have my doctors appointment at 12pm and I don't even want to go, I don't see a point really.
