@Ru-bee it's really full on here at the moment. You know it's bad when you are ready to walk out of your own house cos you don't feel safe.

Shout "fire!" and run off outside. It may make them leave. Just to be clear... don't start a fire, just yell it. 😂
More seriously though, if they're just talking about you, rather that with you, just distance yourself. Go sit outside or something. Don't put yourself in earshot of them. You don't have to listen to that.

Of course it hurts. Just try to remind yourself everytime she says something like that, she's making herself look bad, not you. I know it doesn't help the feeling of wanting to know why we couldn't have mothers who love, support, and encourage us like we deserve. But again, this is not our fault. I tend to think people like this who are mean and criticize us, are generally deflecting their own faults onto others.

It's more than good enough, and you are far more than good enough.
Like I said before, I know it will hurt a lot, especially coming from the one person in the world who should always be there for you, but these things she says to you aren't about you. It's just her own failings and insecurities being directed outwardly to you. You may not be perfect, but you're far closer to it that she is and I think she lost the right to criticize you for anything a long long time ago.

Hey, i'm here and have just read the post above @Former-Member Are you in a position to tell her that she is not to come back tomorrow? Being around her does not sound like it's what's best for your wellbeing right now given what you've shared
