Re: Life and trauma
@MJG017 it drives me nuts that I'm so sentimental when it comes to trying to get rid of things. Like how is a lolly wrapper sentimental, oh wait but it was a special person that gave it to me, I have to keep it cos it reminds me of them 😂. Honestly my brain is silly 😂.
Yeah it happens sometimes around here but not very often, I just get nervous when I hear people outside.

I keep things for the silliest of reasons as well. But if there's a strong and precious memory attached to it then I think it's perfectly okay. I find memories are so much stronger when you can hold and see something associated with it.

@MJG017 I'm glad it's not just me and i agree having something to hold and see makes those memories so much stronger.
I've lost stuff over the years when I've had to flee from DV situations, things that meant alot to me and I'm never going to get them back. So the things I do have still just mean all that much more to me.

@MJG017 my body is telling me to sleep or else I'm going to have a seizure. I'm gonna try to get some rest if I can.
Thanks for chatting with me, it's helped so much ❤️.
I hope you can get some sleep and I'll chat to you during the day if you aren't busy 😊.

Hi @Former-Member
I'm okay, how are you today? I'm just about to have some lunch before starting to get ready to leave for that workshop later this afternoon.
What are you up to this afternoon since all your tidying is done?

Re: Life and trauma
@MJG017 I'm drained and feel like I'm running on empty, having a bit of a down day. Hope all goes well with the workshop.
I'm still doing bits of cleaning, there's not much to do but I'm only doing little bits for short periods. I'm just at the point where i don't know where to put things.

Yikes, both of them at the same time! If I was to be that incredibly annoying 'Mr positivity' I would say at least it gets both visits out of the way at the same time. With the added bonus of one distracting from the other. How long are they going to be there for?
