Why do i look at that koala and think it's looking a me and it's just drunk a lot of water?! 😁
What a beautiful birdie. The name reminds me of a cat I had when I was young. I was allowed to name it. I wasn't good at big decisions even back then, It took me so long to decide on a name that i realised that I'd been call him 'Puss' for so long, it didn't matter what I had decided, Puss was his name by now.
I can totally understand how tomorrow will be tough for you. But you're not alone. We're here and you know the numbers to call if it gets too tough. It may be good to call them, just to talk through all (or some of) the emotions that will be going through your mind.

The word "koala" is thought to originate from one of the Australian Aboriginal languages, Dharug, which roughly translates to ‘no drink’ or ‘no water’. And this might explain why. In the Australian bush, koalas rarely drink water as the majority of their water intake comes from eating fresh eucalyptus leaves. Koalas drinking water is uncommon in the wild, although they can do so if necessary, especially during heat waves, droughts or bushfires.
Also read that it's not like drinking, they lick the water off a surface
@Former-Member you'll get to see updates of my art class project

Re: Life and trauma
@MJG017 it's just a cute cuddly koala and it's baby. Ok maybe they have both drunken lots of water 😂.
That's exactly what happened with Birdie, I tried thinking of another name but it didn't matter what I thought of Birdie had stuck and he knows his name. He fell out of a tree as a baby and had no feathers so I had no idea what he was until he started getting feathers. He turned out to be beautiful and sassy 😂.
I'll be doing just that, every second is going to be a battle. I'll be leaning in on the forums and reaching out to the crisis services when I need to.

@Former-Member So Birdie was a surprise bird, where you need to wait and see what you get. It certainly turned out well, he does look so colourful and beautiful.

Do what you need to do and use any supports that you can to get yourself through. You mentioned last night, about not being sure if it was luck or strength that has gotten you through so far. Luck can play a part in anything, but it only gets you so far. The amount you've been through and the amount you're dealing with... luck doesn't get you through that, strength and resilience does. It know it may not seem like it at times, especially when it is at it's worst. But that isn't weakness, it's a sign of just how much strength you have to get yourself through those most difficult periods.

Re: Life and trauma
@MJG017 yes he was very much a surprise to find out what he was. But he is beautiful and mimics many tunes and my old house phone 😂.
I need to find that strength today. Luck has definitely played a part though. I've already reached out to a few services today but I'm worried that I'm not even half way through the day yet and I'm already exhausted from fighting myself. Keeping myself distracted is key and I'm trying to do small things regularly cos I just don't have it in me to focus too much on one thing. But I'm here, I'm fighting and I'm really doing everything possible to make it through the day.

Re: Life and trauma
@MJG017 thanks for checking in. I've hit a point where I'm not coping at all. I've exhausted all options at the moment but I'm still trying to keep up with the distractions but it's just not really helping.
I hope your zoom meeting goes well.
