Re: Life and trauma
@MJG017 i can't take this anymore, even after multiple tablets i still can't sleep for more than 30 minutes at a time. These panic attacks are too much and i feel like there's only one way out of this.

I'm sorry your still struggling so much with this. Yiu do have your NDIS appointment and hopefully more help for you follows that, so try to keep in mind that things are happening, sadly, just slowly.
Just make sure you keep trying every option you have for getting some professional help. I know you're trying so hard already, but i know for me, the hrder it gets, the more I tend to think there's not much point discussing things with Drs. The problem I found with this is they gave so little time of i dont keep bringing things up, annoying them, then they're happy to say "see you next appointment" and move on to the next patient. So keep trying to get that support you need and deserve. It sucks that this is how the system can work, especialky navigating in mostly alone, but you just need to get that ball rolling and things can get a lot easier as you get to speak to more and more of the right people. I know its so hard for yiu at the moment, but just keep doing what you've been doing and keep fighting as well as you have been.

Re: Life and trauma
@MJG017 highly doubtful that I'm going to get ndis, the appointment was really all over the place and the lady was not really helpful.
My doctor listens and doesn't just rush me out, he usually books me in at the end of his day or during lunch so he can go overtime or into his lunch break. The problem is that there's so much paperwork (computer files) to go through from over the years that he is struggling to find what we really need.
I'm completely exhausted and really just don't want to exist anymore. I can't keep going like this.

I wonder if it would be helpful to connect with others to hear about their experiences of going through the NDIS process, maybe it can feel a little all over the place sometimes @Former-Member
I'm really glad that your doctor is so caring and takes the time with you, that's really great to hear. It sounds like they really want to help too. All that past information might make things a bit more complicated, but it could also be a positive and lead you guys to find something that is helpful.
I know it's really hard to stay hopeful sometimes, but I can hold that hope for you right now if you're not able to

Re: Life and trauma
@Ru-bee every part of me just wants to give up. Part of me wants to throw myself into bed and just cry the other part is trying to paint to distract myself. I'm all kinds of emotions at the moment and it's totally overwhelming me 😞

I know when I'm overwhelmed it does help me to release some of that emotion, whether it's having a big cry, or literally shaking out all my limbs @Former-Member
It's also okay to not know what you need right now, its a lot

Re: Life and trauma
@Ru-bee i don't even think i could cry right now. It's all just too much. How much is one person expected to take before enough is enough.

Re: Life and trauma
@Ru-bee how I'm keeping myself distracted right now. I'm no painter that's for sure, although it's hard to paint when you can't stop shaking.

Re: Life and trauma
@Ru-bee me too.
I'm really losing myself with all this, I feel like I'm losing this battle. It scares me to think that I may not come back from this.
