Re: Life and trauma
@Oaktree hello, how are you going?
I'm open to anything, just need to focus on anything else other than what's going through my head right now.

It’s my birthday on Friday, I am going to be old! My son had his 30th birthday last Friday. I am going out for my birthday with my mental health organisation on Thursday and then with my family on Saturday. I have a wedding to go to on Friday evening.

@Former-Member hey hun, just popping in to offer a smidge of support! Meds got you mad worried? New meds are always such a time hey!! The not knowing, the potential side effects, yeeeesh.
I hear you're worried about being able to stay at correct dosage - just wondering stuff like, do you keep them tucked away, do you sort them into a pill box, do you put excess out of the way somewhere? Sometimes even tiny real-world gestures can play a big role in shaping how our minds interact with things, and taking purposeful steps to mitigate the risk can legitimately help.
Did you express to the psych that this is a concern you're feeling?

@Jynx they are essentially sleeping tablets that are also for panic attacks. I just don't have any trust in myself not after what's happened previously and recently.
I spoke to my doctor about how I feel and he just said well don't take too much of them and we had a laugh. But honestly it's just the temptation especially when my mind is racing like it is now. I'm just agitated and anxious and I don't know just overwhelmed.
I completely stopped taking medications after what happened for this exact reason.

@Oaktree well that's exciting, we all get older but whether we choose to act our age well that's another matter 🤣. I hope your son enjoyed his birthday. It sounds like you have a busy time coming up but I hope you have lots of fun.

I never act my age, my sister is 6 years older than me and used to love to tell me how immature I was. Now I embrace the immaturity. I be a female Peter Pan

I am actually looking forward to my birthday. I love having my family together and my best friend is coming too, but she will arrive late.

Tomorrow I am going to art group. I bought myself a Coco Wyo colouring book and I have graphic markers.
