Crushing lonliness

Hello,

My wife of 40 years passed away suddenly 3 years ago and I am really struggling to find purpose in my life. We weren’t blessed with children and my only family is a good distance away.( they are as supportive as they can be. ) I have 3 small dogs who keep me sort of sane ( I think I would not have coped at all without them ) I have been seeing a Psychologist which helps. I am not really a social soul but I force myself to go out as often as I can cope ( shops etc ) I live outside small country village and my options are not extensive. I am hoping someone may have suggestions to somehow rekindle my interest in life. Thank you in advance. EB

Hello tyme,

Thank you for your thoughts. I am travelling Ok, not a real good time of year at Christmas, a lot of memories, but I am trying to keep busy and focused on one day at a time. I hope your Christmas period is all you hope for. Regards. EssBee
