Hi guys,
Looking for all those that are intending to study in 2025 to complete the cert IV Mental Health Peer Work.
This is a space for our study group, where we can discuss what we are studying and hopefully get some input from current Sane Peer support workers.

its great you are enjoying study.
I have done a lot all my life, but not doing any currently. I still try and apply what I have learned. Yes I often get that orange error phrase. I think it is actually technical and maybe related to the traffic on the website. Not sure. If I have time, I persevere, often it will take…and work properly. @tyme ?

Our peer workers have all gone through the intentional peer support training. It's quite extensive and can stir up a lot of emotions if you aren't prepared.
I'm sure it will supplement any MH/Peer work certificate you have @defaultusername . And I think it is quite costly. I think it was $1000-$2000 and that was a few years back.
If you do it, I'd be interested to hear how it goes for you.

I have 3 weeks break. I don’t go back until the 24th July but then I will be doing a quite heavy unit. Hopefully it will go ok. I do have a lot of support if I struggle with it

If you are doing the same units as I did for mine, there is a group activity role play where there needs to be conflict and confrontation in it @Oaktree . It's a really hard one, but really good learning from it.

@Oaktree i had to edit the post out because I found out that the uni doesnt even do those types of gradings (the distinction gradings) for the course units 🤣
but yeah basically I got a final grade scale of ‘6’ for drawing, and a ‘7’ for art history 🙂
