I think that idea of practising with a few members and expanding with ongoing confidence is the way to go

And I think everyday is different and like you said there is no perfect way to respond and sometimes we miss an opportunity to say something but then another members or pws will reply which is wonderful

Sorry to jump in here @Shaz51 but I am interested in how you are going, so if I see your thread come up I'm interested to see how you are..

My 2 cents is that I reckon you are an amazingly supportive person on the forums..

I think other people feel that too.

I think people get probably get quite a bit of comfort out of seeing someone has read and made some response to their post. I notice when you support my posts.

I know that people really appreciate that you start off the social threads like the coffee ones. There are a lot of responses on those threads.

I hope you are going well physically and I hope you derive some good feeling out of knowing that people on the forums really appreciate you on the forums.

I think the ability to edit our words before we share them can certainly be a blessing and a curse @Shaz51 - I too will sometimes sit here and edit/re-type things a whole bunch before posting. Sometimes I'm deleting whole paragraphs because I realise I've gone off on a tangent or started rambling about something that isn't necessarily relevant.

I'm glad there's some folks here who are happy to help you practice! Just remember there's never any pressure, you can go at your own pace, and it's okay to be nervous too! We gotchu 💜

Going for a walk to the bakery in a minute

Hubby does not like walking in the town centre because everyone wants to stop and talk to me 😁
