Re: Starting anew
Well done @janedoe2,. I was reminding you to take breaks because of when I studied I would go for 4-5 hrs and not take a break and wonder why I was mentally stuffed. (lol)(don't do what I did,)
Proud of you for passing. Take your time with assess 2 if you have the time line up your sleeve.
Keep intouch and take care.

Good morning @janedoe2, Just checking in to see how you are going?
Remember one step at a time and one subject/unit at a time.
Take care

Re: Starting anew
Thanks for checking in. I'm submitting next assignment tomorrow. I then start a new unit. I'm taking time out when I need it and getting into my study happily.
I take breaks when needed and don't push myself as I get an internal pressure that is uncomfortable. Takes a while to feel okay again. Don't like pushing the boundaries at all so I pace myself and do what I can.
The new unit won't be as easy as the last one. I'll be doing thorough reading and studying as I don't know that much about it.
Here to learn so I'll get there.
Thanks

Re: Starting anew
I've given myself time off and am losing motivation. Do I force myself to do reading? I'm hoping my enthusiasm returns very soon. Please advise.
Many thanks.

Re: Starting anew
@janedoe2, I did the same thing a couple of times. How much of a break have you given yourself?
At times I did push myself to get back into it. Is it a subject that you are finding too hard or boring. These two is when I found myself having to push myself.
If it is a subject that is to hard or you are not finding yourself understanding what they are asking for, don't forget that you can check in with your trainer and don't feel silly (as I did) for asking for help. That is what they are there for.
If you do decide to push yourself, only push gently, not too hard.
Keep in touch.

Re: Starting anew
The subject isn't too hard nor too boring. It is about computer usage which I've done for years. I'm reading through the material to make sure I don't miss anything important.
I gently pushed myself yesterday and I felt satisfied I could get some reading done.

Re: Starting anew
@janedoe2, I think the Stuff that was distracting you is why you were having trouble getting into this subjust and I am glad to hear that has settled.
Great you are reading through everything and not just going on experience and I found that some experience and what you would write as an answer as not what they were looking for. They seem to hide a few tricky one's in there. Gentle push is fine just don't over do it.
Glad to hear you are back on track and I wish you well for this subject. Keep me informed.
Take care.

Re: Starting anew
The distractions that stumped me earlier have shown me I have limitations on how I respond to any kind of stress. I pace myself and do the work when I feel up to it. I did push through when I was stalled and only needed a little push. I got back into it.
Now waiting for response to my assignment and still enjoying studying. It's great to use my mind.

Re: Starting anew
@janedoe2, it sounds like you have a good grip on your study. Glad to hear you recognize when to push and how hard if at all. I agree, stressors can play a big part on study and things in general in affecting the way we travel along, you recognized that and did what worked for you to move forward.
Excel speadsheets, I struggled only because I had never used them before, glad you have experienced them before and use that to your advantage to be able to get it done quicker leaving time for other subjects that need may need longer.
Great to hear from you and the progress you are making sound wonderful.
Take care and remember to take breaks when needed.😀
