THANK YOU! Community Spirit on SANE Forums - World Mental Health Day

As you may all know, it is Mental Health Awareness Month.

Today, Thursday 10th October 2024, is World Mental Health Day.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today to recognise this day and showcase the impact SANE Services, especially the forums, have had on their recovery.

It brings me, and the team, immense joy to see SANE's Forum Community come together as 2024 marks the 10 year anniversary of SANE as a digital mental health service.

@Oaktree , yes I had the privilege of attending yesterday.

Something that really shone yesterday was the fact that the politicians, professors, CEOs etc who were present, could really see what a strong community the forums are.

They were astounded at how lively the forums are and how connected members are in providing peer support to each other.

It was noted that such a community doesn't happen overnight, but there is clear evidence that this psychosocial support works!

We also went through the live Peer Group Chats and the Sunday Hangout.

Truly amazing!
