Does anyone here believe they are destined to not being in a relationship? I feel this way a lot as I feel like I’m not a desirable person.
I’ve worked hard to be content and satisfied in life but I feel like that’s just gaslighting myself to think that’s what I need to be accepted.

I might make another comment in that thread just to keep it active and I will try and keep it positive.
I will try to do that and see who they come up with.
I know we are keeping it simple here this year so maybe some games with the family could work as well?

Yeah pretty much, just board games and card games really.

I absolutely hate this time of year I feel so lonely and so isolated I hate myself so much and I hate my stupid brain that does not work. why is life so damn hard I want to die

Hey @Former-Member, i am really sorry to hear that these services make you feel this way! They are often supportive for people but i don't want to dismiss what you are saying either. I know you have been on this forum for quite a long period and are a senior contributor, so i am wondering what has been helpful for you in the past? I was trying to email you privately but for some reason I'm unable to get into the email...so sorry about this. Let me know if you are safe as i am worried about your welfare? It's a challenging time of the year for many people and can feel lonely for many. I would really like to support you today....as you know we are not a crisis service but i can get emergency services involved if that's helpful?
