I'm starting to see 🙈 how my life can open up after quitting TAFE.

My main issue -

I still feel very burnt out how there's years until my two sons come back in my life but unlike others it will happen.

I was 'good' at school, but I don't feel I 'woke up' in life until after school finished @PeppyPatti It was as though I was under a 'dark cloud' during my school days - I felt so dull....

May I ask a question it's about NDIS. Okay I have a wonderful carer but my support coordinator accidentally submitted my new care plan in NDIS. So she not getting paid but she's still seeing me.

I feel very guilty but she's decided I really need to see her.

Oooo @PeppyPatti . That's a bit of an ethical dilemma. I can see that she cares a lot, but then again, is there evidence or proof that she's working with you since she's not getting paid (no invoice)? The reason being, insurance may be an issue. IF, per se, something were to happen, she/you may not be covered...

Are you saying your new care plan doesn't have her services listed so she can't get paid?

This carer has decided to keep on seeing me even though my support coordinator dropped the ball and handed my need more funds plan in too late and

She's not getting paid.

But she forgot to ask me how I felt. And she's turning up not being paid and ................

Very unfortunately ...........derogatory comments about my psychotherapist because iv told her too much.

And iv done this myself. Just I was a lot younger. I can't sit and criticize because iv done this myself. Lonely and sad behaviour but meaning meaning only well

Arghhh... makes sense. @PeppyPatti Do you feel the 'relationship' has moved beyond the professional boundaries?

I'm mindful that once the carer is not getting paid, it can blur the relationship a bit and hence maybe the comments?

I'm sure your carer had good intentions, but i also feel getting paid helps maintain the professional boundaries.

It's not your fault. Your carer was supporting you and just because someone didn't get their act together, you've had to cop the consequences.

What do you feel you want to do? What's your gut feeling?
