Something’s not right

I don’t feel right

I don’t feel right

I really don’t feel right tonight I can’t sleep my head won’t stop and I feel really scared and off. I keep thinking that everyone here in this world isn’t a human and they are all shape shifters and pretending to be human and that they are working for a group of demons who want to end me and eat my soul and they are the ones who trapped me in this world and that they are taking things out of and putting things into my head and because I am possessed and it is hard to explain and I just don’t know who to trust and it is like everyone is secretly planning something and I keep getting jumbled messages from the angels that are trying to help me and I don’t think the meds they are giving me are meds and isn’t what to do I am so emotionally exhausted and I can’t settle and everything is just too overwhelming and I want to cry and I just idk what to do anymore everything is too much.

Re: I don’t feel right

Hugs @Eden1919 I'm so glad you're sleeping. Your poor tired body and brain would have a lot to catch up on.

Soothing eye drops might help your eyes. It's hay fever weather here at the moment, maybe it is where you are too.

Take care, I hope tomorrow's a better day.

Re: I don’t feel right

@Eden1919 I think @Dimity raised a good point about hayfever - just in terms of the simple fact that it could be a contributing factor to your current mental state. Maybe not a very big one, but it can be helpful to remind ourselves of allllll of those little factors that might be adding to our distress. Cos I know for myself, when I'm stuck in that super dark place, all those little things don't ever pop into my mind and I misconstrue every single negative feeling as an indicator of personal failure - forgetting that hey, maybe I feel like this because I haven't slept properly in three days, not cos I'm actually a piece of crap!

When you've felt this low in the past, what sort of things have eventually broken the spiral for you?

Re: I don’t feel right

Hi @Eden1919 I've just been catching up on this thread and I hear how hard things are feeling right now. I wanted to check in on how you're feeling his morning?

I'm here with you

Re: I don’t feel right

Sorry it sounds so hard @Eden1919 . Is it worth talking to your team about how things have been going for you?

Also, I notice that we see you on the forums a bit, but then you disappear for a while, and then you come back. Of course that's totally okay! I'm just curious to understand if it's because you feel better and you don't feel the need to use the forums?

Please note, it is totally okay that you take time away from the forums. I'm just trying to gauge any patterns.

Also, please not that you don't have to respond if you don't want to.

I hope you feel supported.

Hugs @Eden1919 - we care about you.

Re: I don’t feel right

@Dimity thanks, things have not gotten better though sadly.

@Ru-bee i am not feeling good at all today.

@tyme i am not disappearing because i feel better usually it is because i feel even worse and dont have it in me to post anything or i am too exhausted to respond or i just feel like things are too bad that i cant post here because people will react in a way that is not helpful for me anyway my breaks are not because i feel better.

i am still struggling a lot i have been trying everything i can to try and feel better but i am just i feel so bad and everything is just so overwhelming and idk how to even explain it properly i just feel like shit. i keep crying and i just idk everything hurts and all i want to do is curl up in the dark and sleep all day and night but even if i did i would still be exhausted and i just it hurts.

Re: I don’t feel right

@Eden1919 I'm so sorry to hear that things are feeling so constantly hard right now, it must be taking so much strength to be getting through each day, it's understandable that you want to sleep.

I know it can be really hard when you're in a dark space to see any lightness, but I was wondering if there have been any moments in the last few days where things felt a little easier or lighter, even if it was just for a little bit?

Weeks of highs then so many lows. Do the lows last weeks as well?

Does your uni work help at all?

I hope your support worker is still helping with shopping and other stuff.

I've had a cold I caught at a rare family catch-up. My coughing worried the poor cat earlier. My brain is foggy.

Take it easy. Sleep is OK if you need it I hope you don't get bad dreams Look after yourself, eat regularly. You've ridden it out before. I just wish they could find a better med for you.

Sending you every good wish.
