I received these coins in the mail today.
This first coin was released at the World Money Fair in Berlin and features the Mob of "Six" Roos. This is an exclusive collector version of the Mob of Six Roos Coin.
The Mob of Six Roos coin was released into circulation by the Royal Australian Mint in late January 2026 to mark 60 years since the introduction of decimal currency in Australia. Unlike the standard $1 coin, which features five kangaroos, this edition adds a sixth kangaroo, symbolizing each decade since 1966. The design is a modification of Stuart Devlin’s original "Mob of Roos" artwork, first introduced in 1984, and all $1 coins dated 2026 in circulation feature this special design. From 2027, production will revert to the original five-kangaroo design.
So, if you find one of these coins in your change in excellent condition, I would be putting it aside and storing it safely.

So don't forget to check your change for the 2026 Mob of "Six" Roos $1 coin.
