@Shaz51 OMG, I hope he doesn't get both of them being stuck at the same time. Just one is excruciating. How long has he had them for? I truly feel for him. I hope they can get something happening soon, and if not, see another doctor.
I have had the gallstones since early 2023. Most of my attacks are so painful, that I call an ambulance just to get pain relief as soon as possible. Plus every time you go to hospital, adds to your case of needing something done about it. The hospital where I am having the operation is out North, but because I have been attending the Southern hospital, they messaged me asking if I want a surgical consult for my recurring issues. So I had two hospitals that wanted to investigate what was going on.
But the surgeon out North, was in the surgery when I had my lap band inserted and removed, and he has also been dealing with my swallowing issues that I have because of the lap band. So he knows my stomach well. I would rather travel 1 hour to see him, as he knows exactly what is going on. And to add to my stomach and oesophagus issues, I now have a hiatus hernia which has caused my stomach to be pushed into my oesophagus. So my surgeon will be dealing with three separate issue when he operates.
