Re: Same old
hello @Change123 @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope
spot on Change123
lisajane I have never met you. I have only read your posts. I can tell that you are a humane, compassionate, loving mum and I would probably love having you as a friend in the real world or physical world. hopefully you know what I mean.
I dont know what rumours are, dont want to know, dont listen to or believe in rumours that is exactly what they are ..rumours... spread by nasty people who have no respect, are dishonest and untrustworthy.
I moved to a country town a while ago, first time in the country and found it so very difficult to meet like-minded people.
There is only one female in this whole town who knows about my mental illness, the other person is a male who used to be a volunteer ambulance driver and he heard of my being taken by ambulance to the emergency department and then later my stay in a mental clinic.
When I am not doing so well, I make things so much worse for myself. I imagine that people are looking at me oddly, they dont say hello first all sorts of wild imaginings. Now my husband tells me that they all keep asking how you are? I have hidden myself inside our home. i only go to the chemist and shops when absolutely need to.
In a very long winded way I am trying to say that a lot of what I thought people thought about me was totally in my imagination. The few who were critical I now realise are not worth a grain of salt.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
I loved @teej response I would come and baby sit, as would I, as would many others.
We all know you from your writings. Feel held by us. We are here for you always, sometimes different ones at different times.
As hard as it may seem in the midst of it all, holding your head up high is the greatest way to tell them all to ...................
with you all the way xxx

Re: Same old
Thank you @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope @Change123
I wish i could explain more. its more than just rumours and its just beyond hard.
i'm really struggling, im so low and tyring to 'push through it' like everyone keeps saying. just hold my head high and let others judge if they want. and just this.. and just that.. and i need to control my thoughts. that im seeing too much in things etc. if i could just snap out of this i would. if i could just control my thoughs .. i wish they knew how much i want to be able to do that and how hard ive tried. im so tired of trying. tired of not getting anywhere. ive lived in hope that things would work out the way they should. that i could keep my kids safe but i cant. the idea of justice is gone. life is just mess, dont know what the point is of life. what the purpose is of continual hurting and it doesnt stop.

Re: Same old
Judgemental people are judgemental of everyone, and they live their life inside a bitter mindset .... wish them well but keep away .... you need to look after you and yours and let someone else deal with them .... but they are a minority. Most others will just be curious, but not know what to do, so they will do nothing, or avoid out of their own embarrassment or to respect your privacy ....
Quote from Winston Churchill .... "if you're going through hell ... keep going !!" meaning there is a "beyond hell" to get to, you just need to concentrate on surviving the passage through.
Courage, faith, hope, patience, perseverance .... these are all forms of self-compassion .... wishing them for you ....

We can't control everything as parents - but what we can control is showing our children unconditional love and be there for them, regardless.
You have & continue to go above and beyond for your children.
