I've been having really bad trauma triggers lately. It's hard to stay focused.

Yet I want to say, I was excited to hear about you getting your timetable for a course.

Your art is so impressive. Your passion really shines through. Maybe these are protective factors that keep you going?

Thanks for thinking of me. I had a really hard weekend.

I just said goodbye to my card group today at the library I go to on Monday afternoons.

I saw my psychologist and tries to process some stuff with her this morning. It's been tough. I'd not really thought of myself as someone who went through DV until recently. Yeh my family abused me, but I never realised how much I have been controlled and abused by others.

But I'm turning a corner, I'm chosing new things now. I have good friends now, safer friends. I have opportunities now in my life. I get to be in control of what happens. I create my own destiny.

I haven't engaged in art for a little bit. I should do some tomorrow when I get time.

@The-red-centaur so glad to hear you can call DV out. Ya turning your life back to you to control is wonderful news. It's YOUR life you go get what you want for a change. Loving the new you. Cheering you on...

@The-red-centaur so you start your course in the next few days. Exciting times. I'm hoping for you it brings more like minded people into your life that you will have throughout your career. Gosh that last bit makes me sound old! But truely can see potential in your work, don't let anyone else tell you differently. Be open to learning, it's the best. So many ideas to voice to each other when. You stop and listen, breath and take in your new life. Silly me, but just so 🦚 proud. P.s don't forget to take notes. Lol ( if you want).

I'm going to do my best. I'm all ready to start next Monday. Yay. I have set up student support, got everything I need, made a bunch of plans for when things go a bit wonky, and I'm looking forward to meeting people and learning more about how to run a business so i can set myself up for the west future.

I can't believe ik actually doing this. Having hope is kinda weird.

@The-red-centaur just a suggestion put a note in your screen saver or a picture of something that will mean a lot to you in remember ING to keep up the good work. Or something like encouragement, what ever you need to see frequently that will be a easy reminder to go for what you want in life. Just a suggestion. Helps me. To bring me back to what's Important and to help stay on track. Best of luck.
