Destiny

Destiny

Hi @tyme ,

I would like to know more about destiny. I hadn’t really been in tune with my feelings, but when you mentioned about destiny things became came clear in my mind and my focus on the positive improved a lot. The one thing I wanted to ask was what if the destiny I am focussed on isn’t the same for her and she has other ideas. Were we really on the same page? I thought so, but then thought we weren’t. Is it ok to put all my heart into an outcome that I don’t know would be the same for her?

Re: Destiny

Nope, not for me. @Rockdog . I saw it as good riddance!

There's a difference between people not liking you and not being a good fit. For example, there are plenty of people who like each other A LOT, but know they can never be a couple. Even here on the forums, I read of best friends who live apart because they know they can never be a couple. And that's okay.

It doesn't mean you are bad or no good.

Precisely. That's what I was thinking @Rockdog

Re: Destiny

Hi @tyme ,

it would have just made things worse because I only love the one person and if I never get to be with her then I guess noting else matters. If by chance my person ever found out , then I love you and always will. My heart belongs to you. I will always be grateful for the time you gave me. To everyone in the sane family who is part of my journey thank you. #destiny

Re: Destiny

Hi @tyme ,

thanks for everything. I really struggle at times. I edited my post today. Last night I didn’t think I could do it. I can do it and don’t need any negative post for my love story. Dreams can come true. 😊

Hi @tyme ,

thank you for your support,

i love her too much it just gets really hard. I’m not sure if she knew what I meant but I said I want my dreams to come true. She said sometimes they do.

Re: Destiny

Dreams do come true. But you must know what your dream is and whether you really believe it will come true @Rockdog That's my belief anyway.

Focus on your goal in life. It will keep you going.

Re: Destiny

Hi @tyme,

Thank you. I feel like dreams can come true and things can work out. I also started to look at DBT being non judgemental. My head was a bit all over the place on Friday when I was chatting to you. I realise I do need to work on being more non judgemental. What I said about the person I met was judgemental and harsh. Then I got judgemental on myself. These are skills I need in my new life. I do feel bad when my head gets a little out of whack. They do say what the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve. 😊
