My day went well enough for me to say I’m tired. I was going to read a book to refresh my memory for my year 8 students. It’s called, The monster calls. But I’m too tired to read it now @Former-Member @Snowie Have you read it? It’s an easy read. I’ve only read the first few chapters. About a mum who has cancer and the son gives account of seeing (or not seeing) a monster.

HR made a mistake today. They emailed to ask me to submit my leave for today. I emailed back to say I was at school all day and they may have emailed the wrong person. We have over 300 staff at the school.

Ooo! I managed to apply for long service leave. I hope it gets approved so I can go away. We need to apply 2 school terms in advance.

At least I only have 4 hours of face-to-face teaching tomorrow. Oh, but I have a Vineland interview to complete. It’ll take about an hour.

Going to bed now…. Zzzzzz

Good Morning Everyone,

It was cold this morning so I didn't feel like going to school.

Now that I'm here, I'm feeling really good. Exicted. Light. Not sure how else to describe it.

I've got a heart dissection next session. Kids are excited. Hope they stay well-behaved.

Three more sessions to go before the end of the school day, and I'm looking forward to it.

It’s the first day of school holidays. As I think back to my MH journey, I remember all the struggles I used to have when school holidays were coming up because I couldn’t manage the lack of routine.

Nowadays, school holidays go so fast! Once you add up all the little things you need to do but can’t do during school times, there’s no time left!

My school holidays to do list:

- dental appointment

- phone the water company (I think I’ve been paying someone else’s water for over a year!)

- go to the bank

- get the plumber to fix all my dripping taps

- contact my psych to see if they have an appointment available

- make an optometrist appointment

- my my house a top down spring clean

If I get everything done here, I’ll be a happy person.

when I was childminding, my school holidays were my very busy times

when school was on, I only had the little ones during the day and the older ones before and after school

school holidays I had everyone from 2 months old to 14 years old , had to have more things for every ages and stages to do

the older children were wonderful as I looked after them since they were babies

Schhol holidays for me now @BPDSurvivor @Shaz51 @Snowie @tyme Been a hectic couple of weeks so very grateful for the break.
