vitamins

vitamins

Hi all. I have lived with mental illness over 20 years now. It's only recently I feel much better, less depression. Coincidentally, or maybe not, I'm also recently diagnosed with low vit D. I now take vitamins for the D deficiency and vitamins for stress. I wonder if others have tried vitamin supplements and how it's working for them?

Dear @Former-Member

How are you ?

I thought I would revisit old messages : I don't know if your here anymore.

How is your marriage ? When I changed around meds, it was a few months nightmare. Actually, I got back with my husband and after about 2 days, he was dragging me to the Gp saying the meds they changed me to werent helping.......

Interesting, someone wrote about kinesiology.....I wonder what this is like ?

Hope your well,

PeppiPatty

Hi @Neb

It has been enjoyable to reread old messages......

Re: vitamins

Hi @Peppipatti. I'm going good thanks. I have separated from my husband and moved interstate. The meds change went ok for me. I'm still on the new ones and am mostly going ok. Have ups and downs like everyone.
I have not been on the forums as much as I have 2kids and I work. Thanks for tagging me. It's good to see how the forum is going.

DEar @Former-Member

I'm really wanting to get a break on the forums because got so much to do but as usual...someone writes something and I'm hooked. This one is written in the grieving thread called .....maybe on the lived experience forum......about a summery on a grieving survivor and posted by @Former-Member

Lets stay in contact. EVery now and again. How are the kids going? Mine are managing their lives......still talk to me at 22 and 26 years old ( I know, you fell back in shack like I am)

Back to the thread that we have here: I've read that some Doctors have written dont worry about multi vitamins and extra ......boosting up vitamin tablets unless you get a blood test and you are lacking.

What do you think @Former-Member ?

Re: vitamins

Yeah, that would be the best approach I think. Only take vitamin supplements when your lacking something from a blood test or in your diet. Like ppl who don't drink dairy milk might need calcium tablets.
Thanks for your message @Peppipatti. Happy to stay in touch
