Hi guys,

So I have this idea for a cook along. So once a fortnight or so I will look up an easy recipe on YouTube. Then whoever fancies having a go cooks it and posts pictures of what your creations ended up looking like. The idea is to have fun and not expect perfection.

Here is the first recipe. Your mission if you choose to accept it is to post pictures by Sunday 24th March 2024. That way it will encompass everyone’s paydays. It looks pretty simple and you probably already have some ingredients in your pantry. Good luck and tag others in. Thanks guys…

@Shaz51 did your mix suggest cheese on top of the mash? I did the Maggi packet mix with cheese. I love cheese!

@tymeno alas I have been very slack of late and relied on pre-made.

I do want to start cooking more again though as it's something I do enjoy.

@tyme nice! My brother will cook if I ask him to but he's limited to things like steak and frozen veg or pies! Oh and 2 minute noodles lol 😆

The focaccia takes 10 minutes to whip up. Most of the time is waiting for it to rise. It is so yummy. Especially when it’s hot

@tyme he's a typical pampered boy. Everyone thinks I'm older than him because I was always the "responsible" one.

Thing is, he can grill a steak better than I can lol!
