Hi guys,

So I have this idea for a cook along. So once a fortnight or so I will look up an easy recipe on YouTube. Then whoever fancies having a go cooks it and posts pictures of what your creations ended up looking like. The idea is to have fun and not expect perfection.

Here is the first recipe. Your mission if you choose to accept it is to post pictures by Sunday 24th March 2024. That way it will encompass everyone’s paydays. It looks pretty simple and you probably already have some ingredients in your pantry. Good luck and tag others in. Thanks guys…

I have been having avocado on corn thins for lunch. I sprinkle a little seasoning on to add a little flavour.

Tonight was nachos and Bailey's custard. Definitely a cheat night.

Back to corn thins and salad tomorrow!

I love Asian curries, anything with coconut. I wish I liked to exercise so I didn't have to watch what I eat 😕

I have the pieces of the house but I am waiting till next payday to buy the rest of the bits and pieces. I need more icing sugar, lollies and a cake base to put it on. Payday is next week on Thursday.

I never even knew you can bake and make your own gingerbread out. I never even considered it.

So you made the dough and cut it to size, then bake it?

I used to have an amazing ginger bread recipe.. i've lost it now. I used to make it as a kid.

Yes @Shaz51 he puts heart and soul into his cooking. My nephew enjoyed some last night and staying for a few days. Three cousins are going to a festival, which is a great coming together for them. But we have substantial challenges still.

@Oaktree its sounds like a project with love,

but maybe too many lollies for me ... lol
