Dear too hard,
I hope you made it through yesterday O.K. This may go against othe advice that you have been given, but when I get into that totally depressed state I find the best thing to do is lie on my bed wth my eyes closed and just stay there until the worst of the feeling has passed. When you feel up to it, get something to drink and something to eat and then just stay in bed until the worst of it has passed. Forget about doing anything constructive, focus on getting you better. Maybe later on you could think about watching a move or listening to some music. But silence is also healing.
I am worried that there is no-one looking after you. Do you see a GP? Psychologist? I think you are in such a bad state that you should contact your doctor urgently, say it is an emergency) and see if there is anything which can be done. If needed, medications can make a miraculous difference.
In the meantime, don't forget you can contact the beyondblue help line (24/7)to speak with a trained counselor. I' thinking of you,
Ellu

Aha @Former-Member wasnt sure if it was toothe ache. Didn't think of ear ache.
I just realised that I desperately need to wash as I have no clothes left 😳 That will give me some momentum for a bit to get out of bed. It's good to know the snakes will be seeking shelter.
I really hope your ear ache does get better soon, they can hurt and be very annoying.
Catch you later. I hope you do get a nice coffee out and a walk with dusty.
take care 💜🤗💐

Dear Re: too hard.
I am worrying about you here! I wish I could visit you and just sit with you while you got through this awful time. As it is, you will have to remember I am thinking of you. I have been as down as this many times, and have made it through - you will too.
I know it seems like another hassle but you really do need to see a doctor, just to diagnose what is going on and possibly prescribe medications which can help. This stuff is not going to get better on its own. If you ring your GP's office they usually have a recording on public holidays directing you to their locum service. What have you got to lose?
I have been struggling with bi-polar disorder for 47 years (since I was 15) and you would think I would know all about it by now, but I still rely heavily on my wonderful psychiatrist, and there is something comforting in knowing that he is always there to help. I hope you establish the same kind of relationship with your health care professional. The only way now to go is up. Very best wishes,
Ellu

Hi @Ellu thank you, i have a list of diagnoses and have been trying so hard for a long time to keep going. but life just keeps throwing punches that seem to leave just a bit more damage eace time. I have a psychiatrist through public country hospital but as im country i see him via tele med conferencing every 2/3 months and (while he's nice, always calm, and considerate) he really is only ever interested in medicating. i refuse some of his meds because they completely incapacitate me.. which he kind of brushes off in a way, though he doesnt force me to have them, and seems to respect my choice about that. i have a good psychologist who is back from chrismtas break mid jan. i usuall work with a mental health carer as well but one of the two carers who do it left and the other is only holiday break. Theres a new person filling in for the one who left but i've been too scared of working with anyone else new at the moment. especially as im not sure how long they'll be around for either. So really its me isolating myself i know.
@Former-Member thank you. no i dont think there's any home visiing drs (or if therea re they'd be too expensive for me). when i went to chemist earlier i only found one open. the drs clinic i usually go to was closed when i drove past. i dont talk on the phone. i text people or email. i usually make appointments by dropping in to places.
breakfast in bed sounds good @Bella2 I hope that you get your washing done. I should do the same, and beds need stripping. and and and... . it never ends really!
