@eth, @soul,@Niqueeta I'm awake in the West just b4 6am enjoying my first coffee. I was jolted out oh my prn med sleep at 5:15 for one, then another shift that got cancelled. Haven't worked in 3 weeks and not only would the money help,so would the distraction.

Having your shift cacelled would be so annoying @Sans911.

@eth - I'm cold! But good thanks. About to make the house smell like pancakes and fresh lemons 🙂 how about you?

@CheerBear, Morning. it was 3 times this morning Cheer bear, and unfortunately happens too often. I work agency shifts and have done for years for the same company, but the economic downturn in WA is really starting to bite. I applied for so part time jobs, even nursing homes. I just rejection emails every week. It's really disheartening.

That's so disheartening @Sans911 😞 It would make me feel pretty rubbish I think. Sorry to hear

@eth, I work mostly in critical care, emergency, HDU, Cardiac care unit. I don't work wards anymore as I find them too stressful, often don't my breaks, and the staff give me the heaviest or most difficult patients as they've had enough. And I choose my shift days-usually I try to do 3, 4 is a push right now as it's a bit too much stress. I try to do a weekend shift to up the money. I haven't worked in over 3 weeks as I had my gallbladder out 2 weeks ago and was told not to go back to work until now. Money is very tight. Haven't paid rent this week, and already got a warning text
