@Former-Member

Morning appointment with psych was really tough. She stopped desensitization after about ten minutes because I was too distressed Did have a minor breakthrough - we both realised that I can relax more when listening to relaxation music without commentary or words - haven't been able to relax like that before - nearly fell asleep!

Did feel sick and had a massive headache for the rest of the day.

Saw GPin the afternoon and as usual came out more positive and with a bit of life in me - she's an absolute angel.

Hoping for you it is nothing serious. Easy for me to say don't stress until you find out - know that is difficult, know I would think the worst even if my head said there was nothing to worry about. xxx

Re: Supporting a friend with terminal illness

@Former-Member You competitive litlle oceangirl! Doesn't surprise me you went the furthest at all. Is there still any scaring on your arm? That's a pretty big deal having to have a skin graft. You little trooper you

How did your dad cope? Both of you in hospital together - on the same day - having surgery - very unlucky!

I'd do the same if it was Toby - wouldn't care what I had to do for him -my little buddy

Speaking of GPs - I have had daily texts this week - checking up on me everyday - very sweet.

I'm not going to stay up much longer - we both need to get some sleep at some stage

Hope you are in the roo paddock with the joeys then you can get a photo of one and post it - very cute when they're litlle

Re: Supporting a friend with terminal illness

Afternoon sis @Former-Member

The train! - that's sounds awesome.

I've been in bed all day - yep stayed up too long and sooo tired. Have a headache - I think from being awake so long and then sleepy so long as well. Will have a painkiller (just one though) and a shower and see how I feel then.

I have to pick up my sister at 5:30 so we can get a parking spot and some din dins when we get there. Probably have fish and chips - there's a really good f&c shop close to the cricket ground.

I'll probably be the one asleep on the hill at the cricket tonight LOL Hopefully not!!

I'm going to take my phone with me tonight so I can check in while I'm there. Hope the rest of your shift is awesome.

Don't give Kira too much KFC tonight

@Zoe7

How are you feeling now?

I'm feeling a bit less tired after having a bit of a rest. What are your plans for tomorrow?

Re: Supporting a friend with terminal illness

Hi Sis @Former-Member

I'm home!! It was a long night - we did win though so that was good. Was getting really sleepy in the last hour there - think it was mainly the lights! Feeling better now I'm home - tired but not as sleepy.

Tried to go online on my dumb phone but wouldn't connect - getting a new phone (might even go out tomorrow to have a look),

It's no wonder you have been feeling tired today - you've been up nearly as long as me the last few days - and I didn't have to volunteer anywhere today!!!!

I actually made it through tonight quite well - didn't need any help meds wise - a tiny bit of anxiety towards the end when I was getting really tired and it was getting really noisey. I went for a walk about half way through the game because I was getting a little agitated - that settled me down. Very proud of myself

How are you and Kira doing tonight?
