Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness

Hello @PeppiPatty, over here my special friend xx

Hello Everyone

Love to hear from others on the forum if you experience this

My hubby has been diagnosed with lots of things and has had MI all his life

do you find things goes ok and i start to feel confident and wanting to go forward and then everytime something always happens to upset it -- sometimes I think is it a controlling thing ?? that he wants to be in control ??

Don`t know if I am making this up , but i have that feeling ,

@Shaz51 Sounds like it was removed at the right time then. Hope you and mum are coping with the news and seeing the positives.

Wishing you and Mr Shaz a restful night tonight. Is there anything that helps you sleep that you could use, like a hot water bottle, essential oils, or even a warm bath? Take care x

@Shaz51

Perhaps Mr Shaz might need some carer hints to tips and success 😀.

Seriously though, as you know, these tips can help. Being there for someone, encouraging them to get the appropriate professional support etc. Are you in a position to be able to suggest a photography session or other self care activity, even if just an hour or so?
